Here's a video where i go over how to use the new "Douser Dualies FF!" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-81PIwUyMrBQ.htmlsi=rvvKSfayZdscsrlR
I've stuck with the dualies since day 1 of having my hands on splatoon 2, and I still main them to this day. That dodge roll is just so fun and useful to use imo!
@@Eohnni I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, so I'll just say this: I never said that the dodge roll was crucial to my playstyle. I still use rollers and splattershots sometimes. I just happen to really like the dodge roll the dualies have. And also ever since I first saw them in like 4th or 5th grade I thought dual wielding was dope as hell Edit: I'm pretty sure your being sarcastic now that I think about it. Idk. I can't tell without an actual voice but that's just me. 🤷♂️
@@BlazingJ972 I only use dualies. I got spaltted alot trying to dodge. Haven't used a spalttershot since the first spaltoon. I'm better now after salmon run but I always miss dodging.
@@Chase247 yeah i did, but i hate sub/special power up cause its useless unless you like throwing a grenade halfway across the map, and i dont find that as valuable as ink savers and special chargerate
@@Chase247 main or secondary slot? cause i have a piece with it as a main that i use with my support classes, namely tentabrella which has the same kit on it.
@@Chase247 according to the wiki/data though it says that the fire rate is always 1 shot per 9 frames in both spread and turret even if the time to kill is obviously faster because it can now 2 shot (for reference, the wiki says the splat dualies fire 5 shots per frame in spread and 4 per frame in turret and i tested it too)
I’m a new splatoon player and I’ve recently picked up the tetra dualies as my main weapon. Despite the learning curve they have (especially with motion controls)… I’m managing to make some work with them. It really throws off my enemies when I change my dodge rolling patterns while keeping my aim on them, so having four rolls available AND keep the damage going while evading is incredibly satisfying. Can’t wait for your in depth video on them for this game. Keep up the good work!
Stick controls are a learning curve when I first play s2 I instantly switched to stick because I was new but after playing tetras so much I had to switch to motion and adapt to it because when using stick the weapon is garbage
In the lore the Dualie Squelchers were repurposed from a weapon in Splatoon 1 called the Dual Squelcher, that is my reason as to why the function so different from other dualies, it wasn't built to be a dualie.
As a hardcore Dualie Squelcher main of more than two years, you NEED Ink Saver main because that thing guzzles like a MONSTER. They can be downright annoying to use if you don’t have it. But if you do, and you know how to use them, that can easily be one of if not the best weapon in the game and loads of fun!
As a long time dualie squelchers main who doesn’t play competitive, I’m kind of mixed on hits changed kit. Wave breaker is good but having it as a special instead of a bomb is kind of weird, also it lost tents missles. Splat bomb also doesn’t really help too much, it’s painting is good but it’s poking potential doesn’t help too much considering how long it’s ranger is already.
As someone new to splatoon, the dualies class felt so cool to use even tho I suck at using them lol Might stick with shooters for now and improve my aim but I'll definetly comeback and try to main the dualie squelchers. For now, I think I'm just satisfied watching your dualies gameplay (they're so satisfying >.
Try out dapple dualies, while the range can be considered mediocre almost everything else is good - Beacons and Tacticooler make for a good kit to help teammates while staying on the offense
You have really good explanations, and a great delivery of the material you write. I think you should make gameplay review videos, as in like post-gameplay commentary and review where you can explain your thought process & strategies. You have a really concise, clear style that I think would lend itself really well to that kind of content, which I think is a bit lacking for competitive-minded splatoon. I feel like when I play online, I see a lot of players who don't seem to know what their gameplan should be; they get into fights they probably shouldn't, they try to get positions they don't need, they panic when they're behind and try to force a push through regardless of their teammates being alive or dead. So straight up, I think you could just do a bit of commentary on your highlight games and they'd be really helpful. Whether or not you want to do it with a lot of editing and an actual script, or no editing and stream of consciousness, or something in-between, I think they'd be good vids. For real I'm just greedy for competitive gameplay discussion lmao. You do you & I'm gonna click like either way, good vids 👍
Thanks for the input Tom, I will definitely do this soon. I'm hesitant to do videos like that because I'm not someone who "thinks" a lot when I play. I honestly just rush in and just try to take advantage of opportunities that I see in the moment. But, that is how a lot of higher level dualie players play, so I suppose it would still be worth trying to cover 🤣 thanks again
@@Chase247 you're not giving yourself enough credit. Things you do naturally when reading situations because you've put in the hours require newer players more effort to think about. Prioritising threats, positioning and distance, predicting enemy location, having escape routes inked, utilising cover when refilling etc. Agree it would be cool to see you break down some replays by just pausing and explaining why you did certain things to help others learn different techniques. Even if it's just "I thought I'd get a quick kill here but quickly realised I was surrounded" etc. It's how I learnt competitive TF2 years ago by watching commentaries from higher level players on the choices being made and critiquing their own plays (no one plays perfectly). Keep up the great content 👍
Dualies are prob one of the best weapon classes rn. Obviously, my favorite are the Dualie Squelchers. Idk why, is it the range? Wave Breaker? The fact we dont need MPU anymore? Whatever reason, they are my favorite. Also, I have good news. I finally got S+ in Anarchy!
i’m so happy, i was a blaster main in s1 but ended up dropping them in s2 because they felt miserable to use. Picked up dualies and stuck with them throughout s2 because i thought they were fun even with mpu’s existence. Now with both classes being balanced, s3 is looking to be the best game for me
Blooga dualies are my#3 next to Splatana wiper and Tri-shot Stringer. They feel super over powered now (with splash wall and booyah bomb) and I felt like a bully using them on day 1. Says a lot about how the clunkier weapons can be slayers with enough dedication. I do love my low tier garbage.
can't wait for your in-depth videos!!! i've been practicing playing tetras and i've deffo been getting better after watching your vids from splatoon 2 and practicing, subconsciously i could feel turret mode when playing but i never actually realized it was a thing 🤡, this weapon is so fun to play with and deffo worth the effort to me personally!!!! 💜
the start of the video has shown me that i am only now learning crab tank has 2 different kinds of shots you can do… Ive been missing out on half its kit
If you're new to the Splatoon series, check out this video where I go over 6 things that new players need to know. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-03JvpgNRvhM.html
Good vid. I just learned about the turret mode and therefore started to play Dualies more, especially Glooga with the KGal kit. I definetly think I could consider other Dualies than just Tetra as weapons, that I use in ranked, especially cuz they r really fun to play.
As a new Splatoon player, when I've been exploring and playing with a variety of weapons, the most wins I've gotten in competitive have almost exclusively been dualies. I love the class. I have also played Sloshing Machine, Hydra and E-Liter quite a lot, but haven't clicked with every weapon from their respective classes like I have with all the Dualies. Currently A rank in competitive with 51 wins on Tetra Dualies, 31 on Dualie Squelchers, and 11 on Splat Dualies (only less on Splat Dualies because they feel noticeably a bit more basic and I wanted to master the learning curve of the others pretty soon after trying out the Splat Dualies) Haven't quite gotten the hang of Dapples or Gloogas yet. I've always leaned towards aggressive assassin type plays in games and I absolutely love sharking 🦈
I play Enperry and splat! 🤗 I don't like tertra duelies except their looks. 😍 I HATE GLOOGAS 🔥 No matter how hard I try to learn them I just can't. I'm more up close and personal kind of player! 😏 I think dapples are ok. I can use them fine, (just miscalculate range sometimes). Dousers are the only long range duelie i like (ish)! 🤯 I liked squelcher better as one. 🙄
I main Splat Dualies (enperry because why did they put crab tank on a skirmisher weapon???) I love this video and I’m so glad I found it! You’re one of the only people who give dualies guides!
Dualies never really clicked with me for the majority of Splatoon 2 until I randomly picked up the tetras in like the last 6ish months before Splatoon 3's release and now I love them. Haven't spent much time with them in Spllatoon 3 yet as I've been going hard on Tri-Stringer but once I get that out of my system I see dualies being one of my go too weapon classes for this game.
They must have changed something about the dapples, I don't know what, but in splatoon 2 I never really liked the dapples even when I was amazing at them but I play them for one match in 3 and i was immediately like "Jesus christ these are so fun I have to main these" And I do, now that I use them this much I realize how well they fit my playstyle.
For dapple try putting quick superjump, it's great to go back in action and escape a death sentence and also because we are stuck with beacon since splatoon 2. At least with this you are not stuck in your spawn if one beacon is still alive
Thanks man, I'm still very new to splatoon series trying to find my main. Almost 5 starred neo sploosh but I heard it sucks in the meta whatever that is (I'm an older head lol). I'm decent with dualies so I want to try them out more and when I caught your 50 series in a row video I knew you were the guy to learn from
I know how to use these, I just forgot how to dodge roll 💀 I haven't played in months okay? I also wanted to know hiw to play the other Dualies, I main Tetra Dualies btw. I feel the Tetras are most used for quick damage for assists and leave, or to steal kills, which I normally do both lol. I main Dualie Squelchers for the Rainmaker mode, and the others I use never.
Maybe you could do a video about the gear system? I understand the basic concept, but what does the star system mean? What gear helps which weapons best? What does object shredder actually do? I'm not asking you to answer me specifically, but I think this would make a good video or videos.
3:15 Wait.... What....? I didnt know that. I used Dualies 100% of the time during Splatoon 2 and I never knew that... Well i use Dualie Squelchers so Its not that useful anyway
gloogas have been my main since the kensa kit came out in 2, I really enjoy the 2 shots that you get and I really hope we get fizzy back in 3. also I would absolutely love to see a dedicated glooga video from you! I'm always trying to learn and get better
I haven't played splatoon since 2018. Used the dapple nouveaus 24/7, got to S+, and just stopped playing. I've been finding it hard to gain my skill back, been trying out all the dualies. Maybe I need to stick with the dapples.
My first time playing was the splatoon 3 splatfest and the Tetra Dualies were the only ones that clicked with me. I can’t even use the other ones now. Also I’m a huge Reefslider fan too so.
Looking for a group to play with, I can frontline or backline, flexible, none of my friends play nintendo, eastern time zone of the usa. Lmk we will win alot!
I have been wondering, do Squelcher Dualies count as support weapons with their long range? I definitely used it as such in Clam Blitz one time and had a pretty good amount of success with it
Dualies are my favorite weapon class rn, definitely the most fun class in the game, my favorite dualies are the Glooga Dualies and I was wondering what gear abilities should I run for them, do you have any tips?
For glooga dualies, id run a decent amount of quick respawn. like at least 2 mains worth or so. it's an aggressive weapon thats going to die a lot. comeback and stealth jump also worj great on it. you can also invest in some ink efficiency since the splash wall drains your ink tank. so a couple subs of ink saver main or ink recovery up (those are better than ink saver sub so dont bother with that)
@@MJGlick idk, the dualie squelchers got a range nerf in this game and they don't have MPU damage up anymore. They're still very good with its kit but idk if I'd call it the best. I think we need to wait and see how the meta develops a bit more
ive been a dualie main since i started playing splatoon years ago, and i main dapples in 3! this is the first video ive seen that mentions dapples in a positive light and that makes me very happy lol, every other video i see with them mentioned just says they suck
I hate the glooga dualies because my playstile is get in there splat as much as you can then run back out that's why I use dualies and hero shot replica
I'm really trying to like the Gloogas because I like heavier weapons in general, but having to dodge roll first in order to be halfway effective in a fight really feels like such a drawback at times. Definitely not the easiest weapon for beginners.
Yeah, that weapon is not beginner friendly at all. I'd try using one of the other dualies (Like Splat or dapples) to get the hang of dodge rolling first.
I've been using Dualies since Splatoon 2 but I've never really gotten super good at them. I feel like I overuse the dodge. I'd love information about proper dodge usage.
Gloogas have such an odd place for me. I unlocked them in 2, played them, HATED them, got an mpu build that let it 2 shot with a turret and a spread shot, mained it, saw mpu was gone, decided to drop it for 3, played it anyway, and now it's over half of my matches in 3.
I just picked up Gloogas because I always saw some cracknuts doing insanely well with them in splatoon 2 X rank so I decided to try them in 3. This weapon is really really fun despite the learning curve and I can't wait for you to make content about them :)
Can you explain what you mean by the main power up disadvantage in Splatoon 2? I main DTD with pure main power up in Splat 2. Mostly just to troll, but I do fairly well considering everyone says I’m handicapped. What’s the actual run down of my set up? Why is it “bad?”
I meant that other weapons running MPU was bad FOR dualies. Things like kpro and bamboo being able to 2 shot and 1 shot respectively made life really hard for dualies, since they were most susceptible to those since you're constantly touching enemy ink.
Nice video! Recently picked up the Tetras and I’ve been having fun with them. A video on how to play them on each ranked mode would be awesome! Also would like some tips on how/when to use Reef Slider.
I used to main tetras in splatoon 2. but have been running the splst dualies and now im starting to try the dapple. i love the balanced nature of the splat. but I also love the quickness of the dapple.
Awesome video, Chase! :) I'm having so much fun playing my main; the Splat Dualies again! I haven't had this much fun using Dualies in a loooonnnng time.
Tetra dualies are main but still this is really enjoyable, thanks as always Chase! :) EDIT: How did you start your professional Splatoon gameplay, just curious.
Hey question! I loved the sploosh-o-Matic 7 since Splatoon 2, however it’s kind of worse in Splatoon 3 now because many of its counters that I found in my time playing it got stronger, so I’m looking for a similar gun in that skill set, which dualie do you think would fit well? Also I loved the video
