Hello Emma, eu amei teu video. Faz alguns dias que eu estava tentando entender os modal verbs e nada de eu conseguir. Eu assisti vários vídeos sobre o assunto e nunca entendia nada, até que assisti seu vídeo e como se uma luz tivesse sido ligada na minha cabeça e eu consegui ver tudo com mais clareza. Sua explicação foi maravilhosa. Amei!♡
You are honest and very good in your teaching that is very rare and we trust you because you are special in teaching.God bless you and regards to you!!
Emma uses a special and very important way of talking, which is rarely used. She creates pauses, between sentences, sometimes even between words. It feels good for us because during those short pauses our brains can process more data inside itself about what she said. It feels more relaxing for the listener. Jiddu Krishnamuti mentions and explains the importance of those pauses, to be better understood, in a book called "The mystery of comprehension".
Thank you Santsuma... I always try to make my students feel GOOD about their English. So often, we let shame and humiliation stop us from making progress... We need to try to overcome it!
Good lessons teacher Emma. I would like every friendly Emma accept Jesus as our leader until they are have eternal life? It's to have knowledge then if don't have eternal life u will be in the hell, however Jesus won't be u be able in the hell, that reason he calling u?come on the Alter I' m pray for u?
Online learning could be the most convenient way for us to learn virtually. Your online lessons will bring much joy and inspirations to the English learners all over the world.
Hi Ema I have been studying this video, and I found around time 8:16 that the script says: 'so when we are uncertain and unsure about the present and the future we use de modal verb COULD, MIGHT and MAY'. I think It would be easier to understand conceptually, if just emphasis that the prediction is made in the present, but it will happen in the future. So, I suggest just this modification in the script: 'so when we are uncertain and unsure DURING THE PRESENT WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN FUTURE we use de modal verb COULD, MIGHT and MAY. I write down this since through my process of learning English I have realised that it is vital to synchronise my thought with the English structure to make a good picture in other's mind, and I have found in your class a great place to get better speaking fluency. If I have mistaken in my appreciation, I will be glad to listen to you Best regard Juan Vasquez

I evasively used the model verbs " could and would " but Emma thank you so much that you have clearly and coherently removed all may doubts concerning the above model verbs
I had a confusion about the model verbs and was searching about the usage in different situations. I heard a lot of videos. But no use and they just described the words. Finally I found your video and it was amazing 😄. Thank you very much

Nazi Grammar 👨🏻🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴.I have just found your question and I have an answer for you. All of these words have similar meanings and usage. The main differences refer to the degree of emphasis to use. That is much clearer when spoken, rather than written. For example ‘I may go out’ is not as definite as ‘I might go out’ when spoken. ‘May’ is used when asking permission to do something, or offering something to someone as with ‘May I help you?’. Kind regards from 👨🏻🏫 and my feline companion 🐈 who appears in the thumbnail picture.
Emma i love you so much im only in 5th grade and i dont focus but you explained it better than my actual teacher! And i have an exam tomorrow i love you so much and its really quiet unlike my class!
'We should have offered to take him to the doctor. & We should have called his mother.' aren't talking about probability, I'm afraid. They denote regret/criticism (saying what the best thing to do in the past was). Sorry about that. Thank you.
Thank u so much Emma. Ur lesson is very useful. I prefer English subtitles because they help me to concentrate and improve my pronunciation. May God protect u sweety.
