Cathrin, my hubby and I LOVE Epidemic Sound! A little tip: If we know we’re gonna be vlogging an event like our kids’ birthday parties or a family road trip, we make an Epidemic playlist and use it as live background music in the car or at the party. It’s awesome because we get introduced to a lot of new artists that way, and we don’t have to worry about any potential copyright strikes from songs on the radio ruining the audio from fun clips! Hope this helps anyone out there! ❤️

13:32 not clear. so when we discontinue with epedemicsound, we can't use their music anymore? and the videos we've made prior to discontinuing are protected even after we discontinue?

Okay, so I listened very carefully and the videos where you’ve used epidemicsound will stay up and you won’t get copyrighted BUT if you were to cancel your subscription you can’t use anymore of their music that you’ve previously used since you’re not a member anymore. Makes sense?

This is true, but I would not say this entire video is a lie. I use epidemic sound as well, HOWEVER, I’d still be careful and make sure you read up on the licensing of whatever sound/song you use. Make sure you also read the how to credit section on their site to make sure you are crediting them the correct way in the description box.

If you end your subscription, all of the content you uploaded while you were a member is considered whitelisted! So you won't get copyrighted. It's only if you continue to use that music after you can your plan that you'll get into trouble!

I'm so confused. I have been using Epidemic Sound for almost a year and never had issues with copyright. This week's video got a copyright claim for the song I used in the background. I got that song from Epidemic Sound. I deleted copyright claim video from RU-vid and put in another song (from Epidemic Sound) and it passed with no issues? Why did the first song get a copyright claim but the second didn't?

Lost Paradise you have to pay for the song in order to use it in any of your platforms. You can pay for each song or pay a monthly fee and you use unlimited song :)

one question, I used Epidemic Sound and after using their music, my RU-vid video got blocked from earning because of the Epidemic Sound copyrights. So how this happened if it's copyrighted free music platform?

Hi, and what happen if i on and off membership like: on september i pay membership plan and cancel it's on october then pay again for November! can i use music that i download from september in video i create on october?

Have you had any issues with the music from Epidemic? I just signed up and when I load the songs into LumaFusion, there are breaks/little skips in the track. The music sounds fine when I listen to the download on my computer but once it goes into LumaFusion, it gets screwed up. Any ideas?

Question. Have an account with Epidemic Sound (free) and downloaded a song I wanted to use. Included the downloaded song onto my video and uploaded to RU-vid. Got a copyright right claim. What did I do wrong? EDIT: nm, you need to pay monthly or yearly..never knew.

Im trying to use epidemic but when I try to use the downloaded song in youtube, it asks for me to make it available offline. When I download the song in apple music, it changes in imovie and says this song is not available DRM. How can i use the sound?

So after you cancel and videos containing tracks from epidemic sound still are up on RU-vid, how do they know you used the tracks while you were a paid member?
