Wow you are a talented educator. You explain the info in such a logical, clear and calm way that I am able to understand and retain. Thank you so much!!!
Found this in a search, immediately started applying this in something I'm working on. Made a huge difference right away! I LOVE Logic's EQ feature. Plugins schmugins. Made a rough draft sound dramatically better with just a few tweaks here and there. Great, short discussion of all the key elements of EQ in Logic. Thanks a bunch!!
Your videos are extremely helpful because going into Logic seemed overwhelming and difficult to understand for someone who has never used a DAW before. However, watching your videos has helped me steadily understand what these terms mean. Thank you kindly.
Thank you so much for this. It helped me a lot getting started with logic pro. I've been using garageband for 3 years and I realized that I have logic installed and went and tried it and saw it looked familiar but with more new added plug ins and sounds. I subbed straight away!
@@CharlesCleyn Thank you once again, you have taught me a lot recently, i've been watching your videos a lot to help improve, soon to start my career as a music producer and hopefully to be a music composer as well.
How about an excursion into music theory? How are you constructing your songs? Melody. Chord changes. Etc. Would that be possible? And a big Thanks for your videos. You're helping me a lot to understand logic pro x!
Thanks. your a good teacher. I m having some problems i've learned there common 1) My first notes or chords drop out.sometimes when recording its inconsistent. 2) how do I avoid a system overload?
hai charles i have problem when i edit my midi file in logic pro .after save when i open it back the instrument listing is missing all become piano track pls advise .
Charles, thank you for all the Logic videos, they are excellent! Your channel is the only one I subscribe to because of the great content you provide. Thanks again
Great tutorial! So clear and uncluttered with your instructions! Thank you! Just one question; i have 1 track broken up into 9 sections (from different camera audio). How can I EQ each individual section without affecting the other 8 segments? Thanks
That was great Charles I’m a total Newb at Logic Pro , good clear explanation . Does the EQ take up much processing power ? Is it ok to use on each channel strip without sending to a bus . Thanks again ,great tutorial
The video was really helpful. Have you had any experience using a hardware controller to interface with Logic's EQ? Also, do you know if a single hw controller can be used to interface with Logic's EQ, Mixer and Compressor? Thanks!
Thanks for the video man! I'm having an issue where sometimes a low cut will result in an overall increase of volume according to the fader, I'm guessing the peaks specifically. For example, if I have a snare sample at -18db, I use the built-in channel EQ to cut everything below let's say 50 Hz. All of a sudden, the fader shows -14db. I'd really like to avoid this, since I don't want to lose headroom obviously. Any idea why this might happen? Thank you!
