In Innova hycross, even after driving for 40-50 km, the charging level doesn’t go above 4 mark indicator in the total of 8. What would be the reason? I am not able to use the Ev mode as it always says, hybrid battery low.
It is absouletely normal. The battery will be full charged only if you drive continously on slope or downhill. As the Battery continoulsy supports Engine it doesnt gets fully charged as 60% of your total travel time including Idling Battery powers the Wheel and System. 4 Bars out of 8 is a normal scenario nothing to Worry.
Thank you, but when I try to switch to only EV mode, it always says ‘EV mode unavailable’, Hybrid Battery low. And suddenly my mileage has dropped from 20/21 km per litre to 16 km / litre. What would be the possible reason from this? I am sending the car to service station today to get in inspected. What all should I know to ask the service engineer to check in such case? Looking forward to quick response.
@@summishekhar Even without pressing EV mode vehicle automatically drives on EV for around 60% of total travel time. Hence it is fine. Secondly regarding Mileage it may happen due to change in traffic scenario. Also i will suggest to check the Fuel efficiency Manually by filling the Tank Full_Reset the Trip to 0_drive it around 150-200kms_again refuel the tank full_divide the KMs in trip meter with the fuel refuelled in 2nd time. Lastly also check your Mileage setting unit its KMPL or Liter per 100 KMs
@@summishekhar and regarding EV mode when Battery is charged around 50% you can press and EV mode will work for a very brief time and you should be very light on accelerator than.
In Idle Mode Battery will be used as a source of power until its decently charged. But if the charging is going down even while idling engine will turn on and it will charge the Battery Automatically.
Technically range me measure nai hota. Time me hota hai 100 mins me 60 mins battery power supply karta hai. Or agar sirf ev pe slow accelator hai to 2 kms tak chalti hai
After a long drive on highway the battery level will go up but will again come down once the car enters city traffic due to more battery usage …this is normal
Mota moti boley to bekar system, needs more time to be near to perfect as I've seen the City Hybrid and Innova Hybrid, never was able to see charged batteries and almost 90% time the engine was on and the efficiency was so bad😂😂. Theoretically good, practically useless system. Better to buy pure EV.
I too feel the same, just of a small non-practical feature and the companies start charging a bomb to customers, they should give a bigger battery pack which can be charged both by electricity as well as car engine, then it will make more sense to customers.
