will add in the Maschine more channels and more groups for writing music, when I add an effect to a channel, and switch to another channel sound effect is hiding please fix it,I want this effect to be permanently open so that it does not close or disappear, and also in groups, when I add an effect, it is open, but when I switch to another group, the effect disappears, the second problem is the arrangement, arrangement is not classical ,there is a pattern in the groups, I can't move it, I can't move it left or right, I want to move this sound that is in the pattern to the left and right, automation cannot be tied to an arrangement, automation cannot be written in the track,no more send channels are opened, only two, saichen works poorly , not qualitatively if the channel is completely full, fully completed project, then the redekshina arrow game was late, she beat unevenly with a kick.did not hit the rhythm with the tact kick. Because the arrow in the editorial office was late.
Now I want to talk to you about traktor pro 3. I have version 3.5.3.303, I found a bug, it is related to sound effects. On the left I have single channel effects, on the right group effects, a track on the deck starts playing, I turn on the group effect I selected and simultaneously turn on the single point effect, (with one knob) the group effect is heard and the second effect is not heard, the sound effect (with with one control) the volume of the effect is at maximum, and in the group the effect was at the factory volume, I started by reducing the volume in the group effect, and then the two effects were clearly audible, superimposed on each other, I turned off the effects, it shows turned off, the effects are still sound in the same position as I set them, the settings, I pause the track and the effects continue to play in the traktor pro 3. the same thing happens when you turn on multiple effects at the same time with one control.
I absolutely love my Maschine MK3, and these NI tutorials are probably the best ones to follow to start learning. It also helps that the presenter really knows his stuff, and has a lot of enthusiasm for it.
These two parts are for me by far the best ever explanation of using the Maschine controller I watched! …and I watched many of them since I bought my Maschine a year ago! 😅 Thx for it!! 🙏😀
yes that's true... I have komplete and maschine . finally now I can use maschine.... waiting for similar videos for Komplete and how to use both together.
These 2 masterclass videos are outstanding!! I wish they were released pre-covid when i bought my MK3. Honestly speaking, i am not using my Mk3 much due to my frustration of the learning curve associated with such a creative, limitless device. It tires me and makes unmotivated to juggle RU-vid videos, some guys r good, some aren't and some just wanna make profit. I also bought a course from Udemy, the instructor is informative but, i dunno we didn't click. The manual ia great and well put together, however, manual are well used for microwaves and such. No amount of pages can illustrate the greatness and capabilities of the MK3. Boris, i cant thank you enough for both classes, they are well put together. The passion that you have cant be measured, your method of delivery, the constant smiles and the tones of your voice did not make me feel like i have watched a +2 hours tutorial. Again, thank you so much. For Native Instruments, thank you for going above and beyond. For the Tech and innovation team, thank you so much. The team in marketing and social media, you are doing a great job. Your content, the guests you have in your videos and expansions are implacable.
@yazansaifi5895 - you are NOT alone !! I struggled and am still struggling a bit but am slowly but surely progressing, Yazan your comment rang a bell with me, your comment could have BEEN MYSELF, so I know others are experiencing similar hurdles, But hang in there friend, I am sure you'll be glad you stuck it out, I am now getting to grips with my own Mk3 and make full tracks, navigate around fairly well, all I need to do is get a better understanding of exporting projects and tracks, macro controls (efx on the fly) and patterns and scenes a little bit, and I'm golden, man! - I 😢 too also bought a tutorial that was supposed to enlighten and show how to do everything', in Maschine, and while I know the team maybe meant well ( or maybe they just wanted cash grab, ) but I couldn't stay awake, it was a dreadful video , But at least I have a way to fall asleep now, on those restless nights 😆
10,000% agree I also bought my MK3 during COVID and gathered dust as was to difficult to trawl through the manual as a new starter - just found these videos yesterday and `WOW' so brilliant thanks Boris
As a long time user (almost 10 years now) of Maschine, I can approve these How Everything series to be the hands down standard reference for learning and using Maschine effectively and efficiently! Thank you Boris and Native!!!!
This video (and it's presenter - brilliant guy) have just given me the confidence to buy one of these. This chap is a true ambassador to your company, informative and you can clearly see he's excited by what he's showing us. Sometimes that's all it takes!
I wanted to take a moment to thank the presenter of this tutorial. I truly appreciate how you guide learners like myself with clear explanations and a thoughtful, well-paced narrative. These videos have been incredibly helpful in helping me understand everything you've covered. Thank you!
This kind of lenghty, im depth video’s are great! Keep them coming! Daw-workflow, vocal-recording in even more depth, automation in depth, using mk3 and jam and kk together… Maschine is just so much fun, so inspirational!
Purely on the strength of this video and Part 1 before it, I went out and bought a Maschine Mk 3 straight away. I love Native Instruments anyway, but this level of detail and the quality of this video presentation by Boris is on another level as are those by Jef. We need good quality content like this to enable us all to see the massive potential that these instruments have. If this quality of detail could be brought to ALL of NI's products, instruments and software alike, my bank account would be empty in seconds, my wife would have left me and taken the kids too! Question is guys, would I rather have the Native Instruments gear or my wife...I better be very very careful here!!! Keep this EXCELLENT QUALITY of video coming, NI people...absolutely brilliant...😁😁😁
Agree. The unit has so many things and it’s great to have a logical explanation of everything. Still learning this thing after 3 years! These vids are so helpful.
@@NativeInstruments You are putting out a Part 3. Awesome. I will be practicing my skills using the MK3 and looping these to become more familiar with the instrument. Great class! Keep them coming!
I need a half year, to find out all this tipps & trix by myself. With this 2,5 hour video i would maybe got my knowledge in 3 days. So please in future: Bring such teach-vids exact in THIS way as SOON as possible!!! - This guy is a really good teacher!!!!
I didn't realize when I bought the Mk3, and entered the ethos that is "Native Instruments & Maschine", this thing isn't a groove box or music work station, it's a musical EVERY thing, like a true AI "brain" of magic and sounds ! Anything this capable is obviously gonna have a little learning curve, any new owners reading this, don't get discouraged (like I did,) be proud, and just dive IN and get to grips with this masterpiece gadget! Lord knows what NI will have in 10 years(!?!) Great work, thanks Boris and NI 🙏
I would love to see a series like this for the Maschine Mikro. Even though I love these videos, they highlight how 99% of your workflow can be done on the hardware. Not the case with the Mikro. I would appreciate a deep dive into what makes the Mikro different. Boris is the Maschine GOAT BTW!!!
Maschine is VERY capable and powerful, and to expect to understand everything totally in short period of time is unrealistic, I am so glad I have maschine , as I go through my musical journey, I find I always have some new use for Maschine and it's vast library of sounds and functions , Right now I am researching the best way to start doing live jams and use my Mk3 as a loop player I can jam with and make videos, Great comment @CharlesK441 👍🏼 I love my Maschine Mk3 it's money well spent IMHO
Hey @nativeinstruments. Thank you for provide such an awesomely clear presenter + chapters. These videos have been waaaay better than trawling through a 100+ page pdf on day one. Been awesome to go from total nube (0 experience) with a Mk3 to beats in a matter of hours. No way I could have learnt to navigate this controller in such a short time. Tah
So grateful for these videos! I've been a long time Maschine MK1 user but only upgraded to MK3 a few months ago. I watched them through once but I think I'll back again through them with my Maschine in front of me and follow along.
Thank you for this NI! I will be here to for all of the parts! I would even pay for more learning for this device. I love what you all are doing and this is the perfect time to learn about this awesome tool!
The manuals seem technically accurate, but manuals put me to sleep. I don’t know half of the terms, and it’s not obvious how or why I would use whatever function is being discussed. Seeing the functions in context is so much better, and makes Maschine more accessible to me. I don’t have much time to watch Maschine tutorials because most waste too much of my time. These tutorials have great information density, tell me what I need to know to use it, and HOW I would use it, and I really can’t say enough good about them. It makes me want to use Maschine and try what Boris is doing with my own ideas. I wasn’t sure I’d pickup 14, but now Im sure that I will. Thank you!!!
Around 12:00 mins in, I wadnt aware Maschine was capable of this, (Time stretching a sample loop) this is such a handy & powerful tool to bave at our disposal, I can't see how i missed this, (I have watched bits & pieces of all these tutorials, Pts 1,2, and 3) but i usually just search out what specific issue i am having trouble with, So i havent watched every single minute yet, Thanks NI and Boris 🙏🙏
First of all... these videos are necessary to be able to use the Maschine. Without them, I couldn't figure out the basic functionality. And I love Boris... Especially at 12:15, when he goes into half time, the musician in him comes out, becasue he stumbles on something that he likes, and looks of camera because you know hes producing something that bangs. The look on his face! He knows its good.
Simply the BEST informative tutorial to date for Maschine. Very interesting, followable and understandable! This really made the vast amount of options seem manageable and is a great GPS to navigate the Maschine software and hardware. Thanks
Definitely just opened up so many possibilities... I've had my Maschine MK3 almost a year and found the answers to all my Maschine hardware and software questions... sheesh 😮
These videos are OUTSTANDING! Been using Maschine for about ten years, but felt I needed a refresher course and am SO thankful for this series. THANK YOU, NI, for your AMAZING products!
I just want to thank you because you are truly transparent on the way you explain how to work within the mk3 and really smooth and detailed explanations, really really great work on this tutorials! Thanks!
One additional request would be if Boris could show how, upon partially completing a project within Maschine and the Maschine 2 software, how it can then be exported into Ableton Live 11, thus enabling additional work to be carried out on the project which goes beyond the capabilities of Maschine but is within the more extensive capabilities of Ableton....this would be really really useful! If however, this type of video has already been done by Boris or Jef, could some kind soul please point me in the direction of any such video...Many thanks in advance from Matt in the UK...
Knocked it out the park with these two tutorials Boris. I love my Maschine Mk3, S88 Mk2 and well, everything NI. Always something new to learn (Big fan of Jef Gibbons too). Just wish there was a naming convention for Lock States
Really great tutorial! Even if I possess the MK3 since 5 years now, Boris gave me inspirational points of view. I will definitely merge some tips in my workflow with the Maschine. Thank you!
great set of videos on Maschine MK3! thanks Boris and NI for putting these together. I mostly watch Jef Gibbons for Maschine tutorials, so his videos plus these from NI make a perfect combo. looking forward to seeing more!
This was a very, very but very long overdue tutorial. It was magnificent. I will now return the Maschine to my friend and buy one. This is all I needed
Maschine Mk3 must be among the very best pieces of gear ever made! I’m gonna be getting the Maschine+ too for those moments I prefer to move away from the computer. Thanks Boris for the awesome tutorials! If possible I’d like to see a tutorial on saving samples, sounds etc… and building up your own fully tagged user sample library
Great tutorial. I learned a few tricks about the Sampler and the Step Mode. Exactly what I was looking for. I'm able to get away from Logic until I've basically created my song.
Je reporte un nouveau commentaire… C’est vraiment la meilleure vidéo sur Maschine que j’ai vu. Je vais la revoir un bon nombre de fois pour maîtriser la bête !! 😜 Merci…
I don't think people who don't use Machine, just how powerful it is!!! I have no need to be mobile, but I would take this and a powerful laptop of an MPC any day of the week.
How about a video or a section of a video on prepping patterns for movement into a DAW such as Ableton or any DAW. I use Digital Performer so I understand that DAW might be a bit outside the box, but I also use Ableton for some writing as well and some of the applications will still apply to both! And thank you SO MUCH for these two that you have done so far! Boris is an outstanding instructor!
I am blown away by this tutorial. Organized, simple, descriptive...INCREIBLE!! I have one question about patterns and scenes. Not sure if NI checks the comment page or if someone reads this and knows the answer I would appreciate a response :). When I move from pattern to pattern, it picks up the new pattern instantly. Is there a way to delay that to a pre determined moment - like the next bar for example. I use logic loops a lot and that feature is built in, so wondering if the Maschine can do it as well. Thanks again for an amazing tutorial!!!
