This was really helpful! We are doing something similar in class but the directions were confusing to me so I appreciate how you went through this slowly so that I would try and replcate something similar in the data I was looking at. Thank you!
I would advice for your next video that you should not be switching between the excel sheet and your image, it affects assimilation in a way. The brain tries to interpret what you are explaining at that moment using the sheet, but then at that instance you switch to your image and that does not help. Otherwise, it is a lovely one. Thank you.
Sir; You have demonstrated a great idea to do a table to lotto numbers based on the probabilities, let see what happens, I will keep you posted. Respectfully; Andy
So a question. In your video around 0.57 min you mention your table is multiplied by each independent, however your excel formula shows its added? Is that added or multiplied? Second, how would this apply to a scenario where you are looking at a 100 sided die?
I have a very subject specific question that I need help with and a lot of variables to go along with it... I don't think it's doable but try if you can and let me know. Ingame: 30 players max, hovering around 20-25. Goal: 20+ Million RP points. Specific season daily game races: equaling 700,800 points RP set for each player is 800K, on a 30 person that is 24M - refer to "ingame" Caps: 250K each player daily but there is something about 300K I don't understand yet. Goal: The probability that a player will meet "a daily" goal to reach 800K... As the 14 day season dwindles down there is less and less but the kicker is the PC (refer to: Specific season daily game races) itself is 30 races @ 300K. Tried to include as much info as possible and I'm sure if you want to try there will be some questions. Thank you & have a good one !!
can you write a program just like eol software with wheeler so you can put keno or lettery number that alredy play then find out what number come out 2-4 as a group within 100-1000 game
Sir, I'm looking similar set up but not exactly. But I'm wonder it possible choose a group of six numbers each number input selected number or range for all six number than find possibly combination to generated and list out the numbers. Is there any help from you. Thank you.
I’ve just started with probabilities. I work in risk management. Im wondering if you could find out the probability of a fraudulent sale come in for underwriting per year or month. Very helpful in getting my brain going!
it all good but what if we dont know the countif values say ur calculating probabilities of things that are all rolling at the same time happening once
Hi I got a quick question if I use that randbetween say I wanted to use it through 1 through 56 and Say I did not want to use 36 24 10 how would I subtract that from the formula
Suppose you rolled 3d6 and wanted to know the distribution of the sum of the two highest/lowest dice? E.g. what are the chances of rolling a 2 if you role 3 dice and discard the lowest number?
i have row with numbers 1,0,1,1,1,0,1,0,0,1,1,1,1 who is even longer if i look in history. is there any whey in excel what can help me find next number according of previous data, maybe there is some macro who can read history data and when it ends continue independently to make numbers according of previous data. Or you know better whey how i can get solution of this problem. hope you can help me. Thank you for your other videos they are really useful.
Hi, What will be the formula to calculate falling in below winning category if 20 people playing 1 match for prize money of USD100 to be shared between top five rank Rank 1- USD 50 Rank 2- USD 25 Rank 3 -USD 15 Rank 4 - USD 5 Rank 5 - USD 5
Ok, but what if you're dealing with 2 100-sided die, and you need to know the probability of one being more than the other, but only if both or neither of them exceed two independant threshold values? That is to say, for constants Att and Fr, P(HIT)=P(X
Explain "Two ways of rolling the number two" Remember you have an audience who may have less experience than you. Teach them by giving an example of the "two ways of rolling a two"
This is nothing to do with lottery, in a lottery the prob to get a number is 1/N for any number; In the exemple in the video, probability makes sens because it's a sum: For example there is only 2 ways to make a "2" , 1+1 and 1+1 whereas 7, we can get with 1+6,6+1,5+2,2+5,3+4,4+3 that's why the probability to get a "7" is the biggest one.
is there a special formula for probability as a data analysis tool analyzing more than two variables probabilities? (but still "using and gathering a simple formula to achieve a complex probabilities is the most creative") thank you
Hay its CV19 time. As such can you formulate ( assume 333M people in US, each person communicates with 10 friends ) accounting for overlaps in the chain, for any given number of CV19 deaths what are the probabilities that a single person will hear about a specific person's death
