How to use extension tubes for macro photography for beginners.
In this tutorial, I will be using extension tubes to show everyone wanting to try macro photography a simple way to start off on their journey into the world of photography
also I shall be using a budget canon 750d and an 18-55 kit lens that came with the camera. the 750d is one of the best canon budget cameras on the market for the beginner.
using simple everyday things from around the house can be the best way to start macro photography and just slipping on an extension tube can truly change your style forever. don't just take my word for it have a go.

Wow thank you Heather you are so kind. When you get your orbeez and you finished with them for the day drop them into a glass jar and put the lid on. This will keep them for weeks 😉 Also Tey getting one and brake it up into small pieces. I have taken some nice shots this way 👍👍👍👍

Hi Lee, it's good to hear a brummie accent. Not sure where you are from but I can't be to far from you in Walsall. I am loving your videos and have tried a few of your ideas. I am using extension tubes and a Canon 1200D. Had some success! Thanks again for the inspiration. Steve

@@LeeHallphotography The robotic sound fx really bring it to life. I learn in a tutorial that the soundtrack is 60% of the impact of a film or advert. The macro is great don't get me wrong!

You are so right the sound definitely makes the biggest impact to any filming if the sound is bad it just don't work no mater how good the filming is.

Hi Lee, this is a great video mate, I am as you know just getting started & learning from you how to macro photo with my kit lens 18-55mm. Quick question mate, is there a limit to how many extension tubes to use, or what length i should use if just using one.

For those of you in the USA, instead of BluTack, you can use reuseable weather -sealing products such as Mortite Weatherstrip and Caulking Cord. I don't know if it's sold elasewhere. Good to keep some in a plastic bag in you camera gear bag.

Hello Lee, I think this might interest and amuse you, have you tried placing clear Orbeez on top of the little light turntable, gives amazing light diffraction, put cling film over to hold them in place, turn the turntable on it's side and you have a light projector for coloured backgrounds.

Brilliant Lee top man. I noticed you can also get them like diamonds: On the same amazon page. Thought the rotating light was redundant, after the LED colour light came on the scene you have resurrected it's usefulness.

Great video as per. I noticed the tubes used were auto focusing ones (you can see the contact points at the edges of the tubes). To cut corners a bit more, get the manual tubes instead, you're only going to put the lens on manual focus anyway.

Hello my friend you can use extension tubes with your lens. I have used a 150-600mm lens with extension tubes and got great shots. A lot of my first images are using extension tubes

No extension tubes will fit it great and make a massive difference I use macro tubes with my lens 90% of the time and it makes a great difference my friend
