Learn how to use Finish Powerball tablets in a dishwasher.
These all in one tablets are super effective in cleaning your day to day utensils. They are a good alternative to the dishwasher salt, detergent and rinse aid combination that you would normally add in a dishwasher.
However, please be advised that you may have to add salt if the hardness of water in your area is very high. Separate rinse aid might also be required to promote faster drying.

White foam is visible on vessels mam after cleaning with "daily60°c" option in IFB vx. They are silky and if v pour water on cleaned vessels, it is sticky like gum. Do v need to buy stabilizer and water softener device ? Can v use fortune, finish products also? Some people are using veniger, aarogya rock salt . Please clarify 🙏🏻what are d parameters did u check b4 buying this when compared to Bosch, Voltas beko, lg etc...

I had gotten that White layer on vessels when I used some not so good brands in my Dishwasher. It seems like the water in your area is hard. And since it's very hard, even if you are using the 3in1 powerball, I would recommend you to add Salt and Rinse aid in your dishwasher. Use the following combination and let me know if the situation improves. Please do not miss out on any of the things mentioned below. 1 : Dishwasher Detergent / Powerball - You can use Finish Powerball (amzn.to/33rYHky) or Fortune Detergent (shorturl.at/bgszI) 2: IFB Rinse Aid - amzn.to/2Q3mC6L 3: Dishwasher Salt - amzn.to/3y1NYeA Also please note that the utensils that have already gotten the white residue will have to be cleaned manually once. The residue that you have got is quite sticky. Please use the things that I have mentioned for the next time. Hope this helps

Hi. Hope you are doing good. I need some help. I recently both an imported finish dishwasher tablets packet. The package says that the manufacturing date is in June, 2020. I opened the box and the texture and smell seemed weird. Can you kindly let me know if the product has expired? Is it safe to use in the dishwasher? This is my first experience of finish dishwasher tablets. Thank you so much in advance!

Hi Asim, I am doing well. Thanks for asking. Well, it definitely would not be okay to use such an old stock. It may cause issues with your machine if some chemical structure has changed over time. Yes, it is. You can buy a TDS meter online and then depending on the hardness of the water supply choose a hardness level. Hard water if not softened will lead to residue on washed utensils and might also damage your dishwasher in the long run.

Hi Ashok, haven't checked that. Most cycles have a drying part in the end and that's enough to dry the utensils.

Hey buddy! Nice video and pretty helpful! So I have just one question, with these tablets I need not purchase other cleaning products? Like salt and detergent? I just need to place the tab and that’s it? Because I have seen some videos where they add salt in the spot given below too

You need salt when you live in an area with hard water. You can check your manual whether you need it or not. Most tablets have those salts included

I you are using hard water supply for this dishwasher, then you definitely need to add salt and rinse aid along with the tablet. Even the instructions on this packet mention about adding salt and rinse aid separately if one is using hard water.

Not sure of that. Maybe you can refer to the user manual. I have never loaded mixer jars as they have plastics at some places.

So the product I have. All the tablets are in wrappers like sweets. My mum tells me to keep them on in the wash but none of the glasses seem clean after i did this

Well, I think you might have to add rinse aid as well. These tablets are 3 in 1, but sometimes it's better to add rinse aid for extra sparkling glasses.

I think both are good. I have used fortune tablets only once. Mostly I buy the Finish ones as they are readily available in the store that I go to.

Hi Ajay, usually there's no separate compartment for these dishwasher tablets. They are to be placed in the detergent compartment itself. This is common for most of the dishwashers manufactured these days.

do you know if it is good for 1 hour cycles in for example Bosh 800 series?

Hi Juan, Not sure of the Bosch 800 series. But I have used this for a 30 min cycle and 90 mins cycle in my Amazon Basics Dishwasher. It works absolutely fine.

No, Aluminium kadhais cannot be washed in the dishwasher. You will have to change your utensils and get steel ones. I have to wash things like cooker / some non stick tawas separately.

Im using this brand here in Belgium and aaaaaa there's a LOT of calcaire in the water. Everything goes out white. It didn't happen with the other brand :!

Which are the other brands that you have tried? Here as well, there's a lot of deposits in the water and I add salt in the machine for making the water soft. It works pretty well.
