Hey Everyone,
In this video, I'll be explaining and showing y'all how I used First Aid For the USMLE Step 1 Exam in my Preclinical years (1st and 2nd Year) !
I think it's very important to utilize and use First Aid as EARLY as you can because the earlier you start using it, the better prepared you'll be for STEP 1 and the more familiar you'll be with the HY topics that you're likely to be see on the exam!

I am starting medical school at UQ-Ochsner in February and one of the things I keep hearing is my school doesn't teach to step 1 so I have been researching ways to independently study from day one. I am SO glad I came across your videos. I really hope you keep making them as they are needed for those of us coming up the ranks behind you. Thanks so much for all the info you shared. I will be getting my first aid and binder ASAP.

I loved every second of this video !! Thanks so much for examples, advice, and your positive attitude. I purchased my first aid this summer and your video is perfect timing. Thank you for setting a good example, and just to make sure, you studied for class while while using STEP 1 ? I can’t wait for your u world video. I want to know how to and when to incorporate the questions for step. Again thanks !

Great tips man! Would you recommend an MS1 switching from the 2018 this year to 2019 next year or stick with the 2018 version?
@AmbitiousAbe
@AmbitiousAbe 6 лет назад
Thank you! Honestly, FA doesn't change much from year to year. I think the earlier you start using it, the better shape you'll be in. If you're an MS1 now.. that means you'd be taking STEP in 2020 so i'd get the 2018.. then the 2020 one just to cross reference.

how much did the class notes actually end up helping on step though? I would say do this, except fill it with info from uworld, and by the time you're starting dedicated that's when you hit reset on uworld
