I found some flocked and puff vinyl at hobby lobby the other day. I grabbed a roll of each to play with. It was less than $20 for both rolls. I was just looking for the basics and of course, your videos pop up! 😊😊😊 thank you for all your great informative videos. They have taught me alot about my machine in the last year.

Great video, Angie! I made a shirt using a very popular brand of flock HTV in white & after the first washing some black from the sweatshirt is now on the white flock design, even though I vigorously used a lint roller before pressing the sweatshirt.

Why is it when I use flocked paper and this cutting setting it cuts down to cutting the plastic on the other side? I even tried the less setting snd it's ruined 3 rolls of flocked iron on sheets.

Hi! Do you get peeling after washing your Htv done projects? (Tshirts etc) If not what am I doing wrong?
@AngieHolden
@AngieHolden 3 года назад
I generally don't. Could be a few things. First, every HTV that you buy will have different instructions from the manufacturer on how to apply. Be sure you are following those. Second, shirts, etc can have a coating on them when purchased from the store. Be sure to wash them before starting your project.

Hey Angie, I am just seeing this video and I am wondering something. I purchased some flocked HTV for a friend's shirt design and I am wondering, can you sublimate with ANY flocked HTV? I purchased it and it doesn't say anywhere the material other than "vinyl" lol I don't want to go through all this and think I'm being awesome for her and then the Sublimation doesn't actually take. Help! :)

Hello, great video. I purchased the B-Flex Print Flock for sublimation based on this video. I'm very confused as to how to cut this vinyl. There is no carrier/transfer sheet on the flock side. There is a thin paper cover on the adhesive side. No matter what side I lay down, it will not adhere to the mat. I even cut and added a transfer sheet layer down to put the b-flex on and it still won't stick on either side. Am I going to have to tape this down with masking tape every time I use it? In your video, it looks like your white flock has a transfer/carrier sheet. I see that B-Flex has a BF Flock and a BF Print Flock. I purchased from The Vinyl Stand and it indicated the BF Print Flock HTV was for sublimation. The Vinyl Stand is not responding to my questions abnd I'm trying to finish an Easter Shirt. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

They do have two different types. The print flock is for printing on your sublimation printer but I think you can use it in the same way I did here. Can you maybe send me an email or join my Facebook group? I think I need pictures of the product to see what it looks like before I can answer questions about what side should be down!

@@AngieHolden I’ll be interested in your thoughts. I had to tape it down to mat ANDuse my deep cut blade. It doesn’t discolor with heat. It sublimates well and washes well. Only thing i noticed is on 2 shirts I had quite a few unplanned dots pop up. Research says it’s stray stuff on fabric that sublimated to shirt. I was working with smaller items and patching things together so i think that was a problem...unless it somehow has something to so with the flock. It has pros and cons. I’m pretty frustrated with it at this point because it was hard to find info on and i had so many problems.
