Yes, functional medicine, in my experience is so very high. At some point this needs to be addressed for the average American who is having challenges just putting food on the table. I appreciate Dr. Axe for all that you put out there to educate Americans for many years. 😊
I'm a big fan of the functional, holistic, natural, homiopatic healing space. Non pharmaceuticals ofcourse. I'm glad to see there are so many practionors comming forward on the social media platforms.. Love it! I am concerned with the price point of alternative medicine in this space being marked up and maxed out of the reach of affordability.. Some organizations don't even take insurance. Sadly that leave a large population of the people wanting to approach the alternative approach to healing out in the cold. How do we include those that don't have insurance and those that don't have the high ticket amount to pay for the services 🤔 how do we make it more affordable for them. How do we make it near free for our elderly community that pays more for medicine as they age?
I would like to see more analysis of the difference between raw milk and commercial milk, whole grain fresh milled grain vs store bought dead flour and how they effect health
Hi Doc glad to know that someone like you getting basic and deeper in the actual cause of a problem. Two weeks ago my hgb got low, btw got dx with CKD 4, my nephrologist recommended an injection of Epogen to me, that I declined, it was not explained to me, but anyways blood works repeated post 2 days,my hgb BEC 10. I felt very week that week ,and rested it out for a week. I ate over easy egg every morning, till now. I’m feeling better and restart slow in exercise. Your thoughts about Epogen? I’m also taking omega 3 bid. What blood works for information about my health. I’m on modified keto diet for the last 3 years. How can Runa help. Thanks for your attention.
there is no food sensitivity test. there literally isn't. gold standard is an elimination diet with a dietician - nothing in your blood has anything to do with intolerances.
It should and the reason they don't is because they want to dictate what tests and medications should be prescribed. They do not care about patients being healthy.
Hi Troy! I did mention it in the beginning very briefly! I treated it by 1) identifying that I celiac disease 2) removing gluten 3) healing my gut and repleting my nutrient deficiencies :)
