Check out the second channel! RU-vid.com/TimProPlays I hope I did fuse some justice this season as I waited a few more days to get more playtime on him before launching this guide video! Let me know what you think of Fuse! 2/8/22: Fuse is really solid right now. Not bad and not too amazing! Guide is semi relevant as he has had a fair amount of adjustments. CHANGES TO FUSE SINCE THIS VIDEO WAS LAUNCHED: *Season 12 Launch:* No Changes! *Season 11 Launch:* No Changes! *Season 10 Launch:* -Enemies caught inside the ring of fire from Fuse's Motherlode ultimate are now revealed to Fuse's team. -Knuckle Cluster Tactical explosion duration increased by 100%. -Grenadier Passive can be toggled on and off to throw ordnance normally. *Season 9 Launch:* Knuckle Cluster now has two charges and cooldown was reduced to 20S!
I used to main caustic earlier, but bought fuse and fell in love with him. I truly enjoy using his grenades and the ult comes in handy while defending.
most underrated legend, im a master Fuse main almost got 10k kills on him and i always here "shit i didnt know Fuse was useful" which comes from preds and other masters perfect example of how hardly anyone knows how to play him even the highest ranked players.
If his knuckle cluster could be changed depending on the grenade he use and his fire wall would start as a ring wall and shrink to burn the center in a rapid speed he would be a real threat.
Fuse’s kit is so freaking fun to play. Something about hoarding a crap ton of nades and just raining it down on enemies is hilarious. Also love his design and voice lines.
I usually throw my ult at knocked enemies inmediatly after i knock them so i have time to push and stop their teammates from reviving, i find that strat really useful
Literally ran into those deadly combos the other day. We got stuck in a fuse ult, Horizon ulted and then Gibby just destroyed our asses with a bombardment. We all died in like 6 seconds lol. Awesome guide man, keep up the great work!
His ultimate recharges SO fast, with 1 ultimate accelerate and some nades, you can really bombard the enemy, i won a game with my friend by trapping 2 squads in a house with his ultimate, when the endcircle moves, they have no chance to get out
I just started playing him today, I was a little hesitant bc I’ve heard he’s not that good, but I find it super fun to just stick ppl with knuckle clusters
One correction I would like to make, is his ultimate is super useful in small buildings. You can open a door, launch, and set the WHOLE room on fire without hurting yourself. Its brutal!
you can also fire through windows, but you must be careful when navigating and firing. Many times I thought I was clear, but Imoved to cover the enemy and my clearance changed and now I am on fire lol
In all honesty. I started following you not too long ago. Looking for a mirage guide and as soon as I clicked your vid, I knew this was quality content. I’m 26, I say that to say I work, have two kids, a whole active family/life, and In the short time I’ve been following you I have watched every video you’ve made and i look forward to and value your facts on every topic as just that fact. Keep spreading your knowledge and teach us layman the ways of apex boss lol. The word underrated is underrated in describing Tim’s pro vision when it comes to apex. (Did y’all catch what I did there 😂)
Another tip: always give Fuse the gold helmet. His clusters already responded quickly and with the gold helmet it is almost instant. Never ending supply of knuckle cluster to wreak havoc on enemies
"I LOVE THE SMELL OF NAPALM IN THE MORNING!" Thanks for the guide, this is really helpful and so quick on Fuse's release! I've been looking for another main, and I think I found it in him since I play defensive and stealthy. With Fuse I feel I can do both, but also storm the gates if needed. Can you make a guide on getting that 2k and elusive 3k damage badge. For some reason, I'm hitting a damage Plateau of 1500-1800: so close! Thanks Again TimProVision!
There was a clip on Top Apex Plays where a guy got surrounded by the ring of fire and then immediately hit with a black hole and caustic ult. and he just accepted defeat so Fuse, Horizon, and Caustic/Gibby will be a deadly combination with the right players. I could see these combinations having very strong power plays in end game situations with small circles as long as everyone can hold onto their ults to pull it off
You made a video about octane and revenant being a fun combo, wouldn't adding fuse to that work as well? Use all his artillery to wreak havoc and then death totem + jump pad to get in there and push like madmen.
You guys should try putting his cluster grande on a. Knocked enemies because it will most likely do damage to the other peaple around the knocked person and also than a life line can’t rez them cos they have a cluster non on the
I love fuse. Aside from the fact that he can devastate a whole squad from a distance, he’s just a fun character altogether. His backstory with mad Maggie is interesting, His dialogue is always entertaining, and he’s actually fun to play.
Hey Angad! This is a solid idea for a video. My biggest recommendation is to just run mid to longer range weapons and farm damage while third partying! Best of luck and thanks for checking out the video!
The season 10 info in this amounts to condensed patch notes in the comments section, this clickbait was posted six months before season 10 launched. Abilities have changed so much that he just isn't played the same as when he was at launch. Good info when it came out, but either make a new video that takes the changes into account or put the title and description back to whatever you originally had it as. Either way, stop wasting people's time, the only season 10 info you have is 3 lines of text.
He really isn't played any differently at a core level. I appreciate your input either way. Just because a season changes doesn't make a guide irrelevant. The only thing that really changes in terms of how it might be used is the recon on the ultimate. The tactical is still used to zone control like it used to be, albeit longer and 2 charges now. I'm not going to waste a week regurgitating the same information on a guide that is mostly the same to fit some arbitrary date of upload.
My friend and me always use the horizon and fuse ult combo it’s op because they just get sucked into the fire (edit) I commented this before I saw the legend pairings with fuse
I got a tip when you get enemies stuck in your fuse ultimate your teammate can throw down a caustic ultimate, and a Bangalore ultimate or Gibraltar’s ultimate
Wow because he is an australian accented character I did not realize that the original comment had a typo for shield because in Aussie Land they call all women "Sheelas" 🤣🤣🤣
@@TimProVision Speaking of a glitchy Motherlode, shooting it at the very tip of the massive skeleton in the firing range (making sure it registers as landing on top) will increase the ring size by about 5x! Not practical and it may have been fixed but it looks awesome and I have a vid of it if it’s been patched.
Cluster only does 50 damage but players will often expose themselves to sniper shots to avoid the cluster which is very nice. It’s also shockingly easy to stick people with a knuckle cluster. And people don’t realise they are stuck. Meaning they run out of cover or into team mates with a nade strapped to them lmfao
I feel like Fuse is the prince of mind games. (The king of mind games is easily Mirage). The enemy typically knows that if they stay inside they can't deal damage while taking very little damage when far away, but they also know I could push and use grenades + tactical / ult. However, they also know that if they go into the open, they could get cornered by ult or shot by your team. It ends in a decision in which option could result in the least damage while outputting the most damage. Also people panic when you throw a grenade anywhere near them so some reads can be simple.
Fuse is by far the worst legend. Tactical does almost no damage, only use is destroying doors. Ult can be escaped by all wraith, octane, horizon, pathfinder, which are all super meta right now. Also does very little damage but the stun can be nice. Passive is nice but rarely works as well as you hope.
Something I think is kinda annoying is when I’m looking for grenades for Fuse and can’t find any, then someone suddenly fills my room with nades and I look to god to give me the sweet release of death
Hear me out, Fuses ultimate+Caustics ultimate + Revenants tactical because if there is a horizon or a Gibraltar he can silence them so they can't get out of the ring of fire and boom, and squad wiped out.
Also,a bit of a contrary opinion to not using the ultimate indoors,it can be used to block off pathways. So you can use it to escape,or if you’re cruel, make the fire inescapable.
I’ve used the Motherlode in small buildings where im fighting a team I’ll run out use the mother lode at the door and close the door and block them I’m watching them burn
When i knock someone and am getting pushed ill stick em with a knuckle cluster and it usually takes then out, then damages resing enemies and lets me know whos where it works out for me
The ult is actually insanely useful in small buildings because it only will do five damage to you on activation and it can melt every enemy insanely fast
tac and ult are best used for area denial and moving an enemy team in the direction you want them to go. sometimes into your teammates line of fire and sometimes away from you if you're trying to reset from a bad fight entry.
What's up Tim?! This video literally helped out so much. Fuse is a little out of my play style, so thanks for clearing up some good strat. I'd love to see a new video post season 10 buff!
can you try to get a clip where the zone ends and the only way to get through is a choke point can you try getting a fuse alt there so they either have to go through the fire or get dmg by the ring
Lmao haha. Hey Drehix. This is crazy that you commented on this. I saw your name and watched the Vod on your channel during that one clip 😂. Hope your doing well!
True Blue (banner pose) Aussie (Australian) Legend (this is obvious), check. Obsessed with throwing things, check. I got nothing else atm. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Its funny how fuse just came out and ppl are already making guides like "how to be a master at fuse". Seriously tho, a very good and very informative vid!
The new season just came out and I saw a fuse with a leg skin good pose and frame and already has rare badges and the max of the 4K damage and had 73 kills HOW!!!
This is one of my oldest and outdated guides. It definitely needs some revisiting. I am not sure if I will be doing an updated guide this season for Fuse... I can't quite say why but It'll be clear soon enough.
Your probably the apex yt I trust the most with tier lists and stuff because you realize that every legend, even the lower tier ones still have benefits.
you can use it inside or under a roof. that colored arc tells you where it will land, and if you get ut right and move back a bit, an indoor ring of fire can be quite devastating
You should absolutely use his ault indoors. It is a great way to cover an escape while also heavily damaging your enemy. The trick is to launch it while running backwards away from the enemy. Absolutely melts people in a building.
I've found that using the ultimate on a squad pinned in a building(pop in pop out) light em up with grenades and clusters...highly effective especially in a skulltown scenario
