I go over the basics of using GeoVic it is a Victorian state government mapping tool you can use to find gold prospecting & metal detecting locations. It has all sorts of information from mine sites, gold production, geological maps, aerial photography & more. GeoVic is one of my most used research tools & helps plan where to start the ground research.
