This video was super helpful! It's really the best glide bait video I've seen so far. I have lots of bass/panfish experience but am newer to musky and pike fishing. I had already picked up a Hellpuppy softtail and a couple of Phantom softtails for this summer. You are so right about that white spot on the head of the Hellpuppy being helpful in seeing the lure in the water and how it works. I will definitely start with that one as I learn to use gliders, thanks for the advice. I might pick up a non-softtail Hellpuppy too, yours looked fantastic in the water. Great video! Also, do you like the Lakewood tackle storage? I've been thinking about those too. Thanks!!
Thanks for watching! I’m glad this was helpful! I love my Lakewood, there’s a ton of storage in it and I’ll eventually move to where it stores my large soft plastics and get another for hard baits.
Is that Lake Wilgreen? Went searching for muskie glide bait info and this was the first one. Never imagined I'd see Wilgreen here lol I usually kayak fish it and haven't been out there just yet this year. Great video man!
