Thanks for asking. It just looked complicated. But it's not entirely useless. For example, When a user first loads the site. A default font like Arial will be used as a placeholder. But as soon as the Google font is loaded in, it will then replace/swap the default font. But since I deleted it, it stops the default font from loading in at all. The downside is, no text will appear until Google font has loaded in.
