Can you please do a video on how to follow the voice navigation directions in Google Maps while driving? Since I won’t be looking at my phone when I’m driving, I need to better understand how to properly follow the voice navigation. However, I find it confusing, as the app often says that I need to drive a certain number of meters, and then make a turn. I find this very vague, since I don’t know how to measure meters as I’m driving. Can you please make a video that demonstrates how to understand & follow these directions?
The voice says to turn left or right after certain meters, but when you have to turn, it says to turn. When it says to turn, this will be your queue to turn to the next road or street. Sometimes, it says "One the second street," which means that not this one but the one after. This is because when two streets are very close and Google Maps wants to make sure you turn to the correct street.
Go to about phone and app management then go to Google maps and clear all data, now open the Google map and set a destination, then it ask you for the location coverage, just simply press on precise location rather than the other option.
There is no magic number. Usually, it says the distance when the turn is a bit far. However, when it says to turn, just keep in mind that you have to turn in a few seconds. Sometimes, it says to turn on the second street. That time, you need to turn to the second street.
Thanks for this video. on an highway, I need google to show me which lanes do I need to stay. for example if there are 4 lanes which should be my lane. does it do that?
@@mks-mobile Thanks for the quick response. It impressed me and have subscribed. When I downloaded TOM TOM a few minutes back on my iPhone, it specifically asked me if I am interested in Lane guidance,, so that means the moment I enter the autobahn/highway, Tom Tom may tell me which lanes are appropriate for me to drive so that I can stay in those lanes for some 2-3 kms?
It does not show less speed than the "actual" speed. Your car show 2km/h more. Due to tyre calibration and size. ALWAYS the satelite speed will be the acurate one
You mean the bottom bar that has a mic and other options? I think Google has dimmed down that row for some reason. I think there is a setting in the app. I will have a look and see if I can find something tomorrow while using it.
