Thx for this video. I'm looking at this sprayer to paint my deck. We have a handful of projects to get done quickly so we can get the house on the market.. and it would literally take a week to hand paint my deck.
Hey there! I think this unit would work well for spraying a deck and other house projects. I havnt used it for decks or fences though, only for spraying my shed and touch up spraying on our ext. of the house.
Thanks for the support! The kickstand is no more than 3/4"x2" and I measure so I put it right where my hinges go. That way when I drill out the hole for recessed hinges they then cover where the wood kickstand was. It actually works pretty well.
My Graco Truecoat VSP 360 sprayer, when working, seems to spit or throw a jet apart from the paint fan, does anyone know what is causing this or if any part is damaged?
Mine doesn’t work. It throws nothing out. I opened it up cleaned it and still nothing. I tried using water to see if water would pass through and nothing.
Great video sir I just hope I can clean the darn thing but this I need kinda tired of Wagner to much cleaning but this I am willing to try hope it handles Thompson water seal for staining decks and fences.
You can use any paint you want. I stick to water based paint since it's easy to clean up. Most paint needs thinned a little in order for the gun to apply evenly.
I gotta go sorta fast. I keep it that high because I don't like thinning my paint and the fanning on the spray pattern is pretty bad at a lower number which requires more coats.
Thanks for the video! Do you think this sprayer would be suitable to use for paintings interior walls? I am currently redoing my house, and also have 2 rental units. Would love something to cut down my time and also the dreaded roller and paint brush cleaning job.
Nah these hand held are good for maybe one wall It's annoying having to refill , this is perfect for cabinets and doors . For walls I have the X5 model and I love that thing
I just used it in an interior painting job I finished 2 rooms in like 30 minutes All white satin finish ceiling and walls I was shocked it worked fine No issues whatsoever no lines And frankly I'm good at painting in general but it's the first I use it and it works great for me
I think I got mine at Home Depot or Lowes, they both sell them. I'm sure a local Ace Hardware or similar store has them too. I just checked and Amazon has them too. It's so handy! One of the best cheap items in the shop.
DSP (Dual Speed) has 32oz paint cups and Hi-Low pressure, VSP (Variable Speed) has 42oz paint cups and a 1-10 dial for 1-10 pressure settings for fine-tuned painting based on the project and type of product you’re spraying.
I always spray 2-3 thin coats minimum. You don't want to do 1 or 2 thick coats, it wont dry well and will look too heavy. Once you notice the paint is covering an even layer on the material (not necessarily thick) then it's enough. For my cabinets and painted furniture, I do two prime coats and 2-3 final coats.
something I found with it was you can squeeze out the air the gun it's self don't need to be running however to purge it it will need to run a few seconds is all the liner can be reused lots of times as I have found out from experiences there are times were it may leak sine air and the gun will shut down on its own till it's purged n😅ce tool a bit pricey I to got mine at the home Depot the one I had before was a Wagner I will not buy another the ting lasted one season of house hold painting of odds and ends and blew out no bueno if you buy cheap it just may be cheap so far so good for the cracko I see this company don't only make sprayers baby things to pretty Kool there reputation for great car seats and strollers is top notch so why not there sprayers well I will say it honestly time will tell it it's around more then a year then it's money well spent sure hope it's around a lot longer I like it to much
Yeah mine does too, I've tried all sorts of things. Now, I only use it for outside projects like fence stain, or painting a shed even then it take multiple coats. I never use it anymore for furniture.
Im using this gone for the cabinets and right now with a first coat it looks perfectly smooth. But I’ve tested and to have that perfection I’m on speed 1. If you using higher speeds than that happens.
