Yea you should still apply conditioner especially if your hair is dry and thick. If A bit of conditioner touch the sculp is not a big deal. But I’m meaning not massaging the sculp with condition and apply directly there. ( if make sense ) Hope that helps .

If the hair is very short you possible won’t avoid it 100% but with soft touch the ends only you will minimise the amount of products going though the roots so the hair won’t be greasy . Hope that helps 🙏
