This Honda/Acura Ignition Roll-Pin Removal Kit is designed to remove the roll pin without any damage to the ignition housing or the roll pin. After reinserting the ignition, simply reinsert the roll pin.
Due to the increasing frequency of these ignitions failing this kit was put together to allow the locksmith to remove the ignition roll pin on most Honda and Acura models without drilling or any damage. This kit is unique in that it grabs the outside of the roll pin compressing its diameter allowing the roll pin to easily be removed and reused

Do you sell the replacement taps too? I bought Rip's Removal Tool for 150 bucks which uses the same method. I thought it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread, then it broke the very first time I sued it and the kit came with no spare tap. I was very careful and used copious amounts of lube and the tap just snapped. Now it sits useless in a drawer.

This is a great question. I will try to get you an answer or something better. This kit comes with 2 extra Taps, so that is a plus for sure.

@@UHSHardware Am buying that kit tonight along with a bunch of Kenaurd high security locks. There is a mistake in the title of that listing on your website, though. It says "Replacement Tips for Automotive Flip Key Roll Pin Press" also has some HTML displaying in the description. Cheers!

In all fairness, in a couple of years I've only broken one tap with the Rip's Kit. I blame myself as I got in a hurry. The 0-80 taps are cheap and available on Amazon. This kit uses the same basic principle. The price is def cheaper, though!
