I tried the curly girl method after doing the "big chop" it wasn't really working for me... then I got frustrated with my natural hair because styles weren't lasting or coming out right. I didn't give my curls the love and attention they demanded in the beginning, my beginning natural hair journey was and is definitely a journey. I've grown to love my hair in it's natural state and being a newbie e.g. 2yrs natural almost 3yrs this coming September... I have to say, I wouldn't change what I went through, learned or accomplished for anything.
