The way I've done it, i use two pieces of paper and they both cut out, i peel of one color layer to use the other color, i discovered that by accident and a pretty picture was made. Ok let me what Susan did, she is very creative. She always trying things out.
Susan is a real MVP in the crafty world. She made me the most AMAZING b-day card....Sometimes I just stare at it because its so beautiful and has so much depth and detail. TY for sharing this and for shouting out the ladies you learned from.
OMG... I needed this tutorial a week ago. I ended up die cutting so many different colors and paper piecing until I was screaming! Thanks for coming up with this much easier technique! Love it!
Hi 👋🏼. Yes I knew about this technique I figured it out myself a while back with Tonic Studio dies that cut out the same way ,so much easier to just color in , I learned about the glue on hand at the Scrapbook Expo about 4 years ago at a make and take table the demonstrator did the glue on hand.love your Hello Kitty 😍
Hi Kristianne, this technique is genius. I just bought some HK dies, attempted to paper piece. It was a fail because of the small pieces. This is great. TFS. Happy Crafting.
This is brilliant technique, I always avoided buying dies like these as it’s too much work and colouring in is my favourite thing. So u have showed me a nightmare into a dream thank you ❤
OMG....I am going to have to try this. I have so many hello kitty dies and I have not cut them out because of the paper piecing, it is time consuming. Wow.. that looked so simple to do and the glue tip AMAZING!! Thanks to u and all the ladies involved for the tips.
Thank you for doing this. I have a Hello Kitty die n it looked way beyond my ability. I haven’t been able to craft in 2 yrs now but I’m trying to slowly do things. I appreciate you doing this.
I use as background a die die cut of the item, but cut it from one side laminated paper. So it only shows embossing and don't cut thru the paper. The frame I have to cut with and but so I know exactly where to put each item.
Great technique ... I didn't know about it ... I cut with the dies several times. Yes it looked good but so much work! I'll b coloring from now on! I am saving up for the ohuhu markers ... 360! I have about 90 Copics ... but ... when they raised the prices and no more discounts in Hobby Lobby ... time to look for alternatives. LOL. Everyone seems to like the Ohuhu markers!
