Awesome! Can you do a more detailed video about component? And can we use easily tailwind CSS with it? It's just that, it's easier for responsiveness and faster to write 😅
There would be somewhere an explanation of how jet is tricking the default wp conculta to understand these new meta tables, I would like to see the code to understand better
it would be better if you proceed with Astra theme, as this one is in the list of the most compatible crocoblock.com/faq/#:~:text=Also%2C%20Crocoblock%20is%20compatible%20with,Astra%2C%20Blocksy%2C%20and%20GeneratePress.
Possibility to create components... Super 🤩This is an incredible game changer. Very much looking forward to a more extensive and detailed, step-by-step video, using Twig. One that even beginners can understand :) As in Elementor, so in Bricksbuilder. A very welcome opportunity to create components with much wider possibilities than just object styling. Well done, Crocoblock team, big Respect 👍🤝✊
Components certainly sounds intriguing. I'm not clear on how this connects to data in a CPT or CCT - and maybe that's not the point. I'm looking forward to your more in depth video. The new table options for CPTs is very interesting. It sounds like this will make CPTs more easily quarriable with SQL.
components can be used with default WordPress posts or posts from a Custom Post Type - more info you can get here crocoblock.com/knowledge-base/jetengine/using-components-in-query-loop-or-listing/#create-a-new-component-for-cpt as for SQL, then yes, it makes SQL requests faster (if Meta Fields used in query arguments)
could you please enlarge a bit? which exactly fields do you mean? fields in the forms of JetEngine or fields as the meta fields when we add them to the custom post type? or else? it will help to provide you with better solution :)
@@Crocoblock I'm creating a custom post type with JetEngine in WordPress, using various fields. I'd like to make one field mandatory if another switcher field is set to true in the backend dashboard. Could anyone guide me on how to set up conditional logic for this in JetEngine?
custom meta storage is more about saving meta fields of the post when CCT is a separate type indeed, CCT can be better for the website performance as everything is saved within one table at the same time, CCT doesn't have a possibility to have Single templates, as we have in Custom Post Types all in all, custom meta storage will have a great impact on your website and performance also in case you are using posts (not CCT) hope it's more clear :)

Amazing update, thank you so much for always innovating in ways that create real value for the community. It would be really helpful to have a way to group and export these components - similar to how you have templates we can import for profile builder or exporting elementor templates.
thank you so much for such kind words! you supportive attitude makes us move forward and realize cool things, like this and other upcoming features! what about exporting, then it can be done if you proceed to JetEngine > JetEngine and there you'll see (if you have already created components) the block with them which you can check and then export :) is this what you need?
When updating a Custom Meta Storage postmeta, add_action('updated_post_meta' is not being triggered, and many of us who create very specific functionalities need these standard hooks for some situations.
Thank you for the great update. If the CPT is already created and have data, would separating the table delete all current data or they will be migrated?
@@Crocoblock I wonder how you managed to be able to incorporate this functionality at the same time in so many builders. when I see the time it takes for Elementor to integrate new features. Congratulations again !
