Worth it to watch it! Helping us a lot to understand how to manage the configuration of the ports of Yamaha and FL Studio. it is a difficult tutorial to make but very helpful. Just few people could make it. You are great!!...... Thank you soooo much....
So true. It's quite huge topic and it is difficult to make it short. I am trying always to cover the topic from the beginning to the end. Thanks for the good word. Regards
I really recomend to watch this video, I have just finished to follow this video step by step. I could set evrything the clock, the channels, record channels, drums, etc. I idid not have any problem. Amazing the way that you explican such a difficult configuration, it is just great!!
For quite some time I have this on my TODO List- - topic is worth attention. Let's make an agreement. If this comment gets 10 likes or more - I will do it, Regards
Great presentation I learned a lot. Once I have all the midi channels edited in Cubase, Can I convert all the midi sounds into Audio sounds but using the Yamaha keyboard sounds instead of Cubase?
Hello BB Walker. Thank you for all the wonderful informations you have provided. Wpuld it be possible to record/midi notes from FL Studio to the yamaha keyboard for individual channels and the different sections (Intro, main and break)
Hey. Yes sure all sections from Style are sent (transmitted) via channels 9-15 Port 1 (2 rythmic, bass, phases etc) you can map them all like in shown in chapter 8:31 but each channel must be recorded at different channel on FL studio. If you have problem - let me know
Interesting video, thanks for making it available. Question: If I transfer a style from my PSR 770 to my DAW, can I erase all channels except one voice in particular and make it a new voice?
if it wasn't a big rain, just a little bit of rain nothing special should happen. In general, do not try to dry with anything that generates heat, such as a hair dryer. Also, do not put the keyboard on the heat sink. High temperature can deteriorate the condition of the keyboard. To begin with, I would turn the keyboard upside down and let it sit overnight for large drops of water to drip onto the floor. Then I would take to remove any moisture that may have accumulated inside. It is best to get rid of moisture in a well-ventilated room, you can use special moisture absorbers (small paper bags with silicon gel) or make them yourself - using cat litter in a cotton sock. You can also use a fan or compressed air (from a compressor or a disposable container) to blow water drops from between the keys.
Is it possible to record my performance on keyboard (Yamaha PSR-E473), in one of its voices, onto a channel in FL Studio? If it is, someone, please, let me know how.
I am pretty sure that the answer is Yes - most DAW should be able to do this in the same way cause MIDI is a industry standard. I don't know this software but if you like I can check it and make a similar video with MPC Beats
@@BBWalkerTV sorry for ask you a questions? Your tutorial is great and it works! But.. I just can monitoring output audio with my headphone and i'm trying an output to speaker in my yamaha psr using output from soundcard L + R connect to L + R AUX but it doesn't work. Can i get any help? Because I don't have a monitor speaker. I need secondary monitor using my yamaha psr before I buy something new in future.
@@EbbarDong Which model you have - I assume you want to use PSR Speakers as monitors (output from PC -> AUX in on PSR) right ?, check Mixer and AUX IN levels maybe you have muted it ?
Do I need to use another program to run the FL Studio on my Yamaha Keyboard or just connecting my computer to the keyboard and it will automatically read the keyboard
I dont think this is possible but does anyone know if you can control de play position or the play position marker with the keyboard, kinda like how you use the arrows in Premiere pro to navigate the timeline, instead of having to use the left click and drag in Fl studio, so you can use the divisions in the timeline like frames.
in this price range - you can look for Ryzen 5 CPU with 8 GB or RAM and 256 GB SSD - In my videos you can see such hardware. It is not perfect but for basic it is ok. Intel is more expensive. If you need to do all in software (VST and production) you may need more powerful CPU

Hi, i see digital keyboard is getting recognised in my pc , also when i could successfully add digital keyboard in my daw, but when i go ahead to record something i dont see degital keyboard as my input device in the track i wnt to record
Maybe you have selected wrong track type. It won't be seen as "audio / instrument track " but as MIDI . You need to add as many track as you need and map them (each channel from MIDI port 1 or 2 ) to desired track in DAW. You can use channels from Song or Style (by changing MIDI port map) - just like it was shown in the video. What type of DAW you are using?
