I'm brand spanking new to procreate AND digital drawing. These tutorials are blowing my mind. THANK YOU for putting these together for us. SO SO SO HELPFUL. And your art style is so adorable!
i’m relearning art and using an ipad/procreate to understand digital art from scratch- i’ve been struggling understanding how to use a MASK! and this helps!
As an artist, I struggle with character design like this cute little rabbit. I can't figure out how to bring it all together using references. And I also would like to understand how much you can use from a reference and still be able to call it your own. Thank you for these great tutorials!
For once i can understand how to use these features together. Most tutorials say use this, or use that, but you've made them more functional by combining the use of the Clipping Mask, the Alpha Lock & the Layer Mask. Great demonstration. Thanks.
I’m watching this as a Procreate refresher because it’s been a long time since I’ve used it and I forgot a lot of basic stuff. Gosh though, I had originally learned about these things through a supposedly all-inclusive Procreate course that I bought, but it didn’t even cover some of the tricks that you showed in this short video. And the things that it did teach, you demonstrated way better here. I wish this had been how these concepts were initially introduced to me. Using masks and alpha lock would’ve been much less confusing. Thanks for the amazing video! So helpful :)
Your video tutorials are very helpful esp for beginners like me. Very relevant info even for non ipad users. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. 😉
THANK YOUUU soooo much for making this video, I might've just found it but I have been struggling soooo much with understanding all the types of masks and have watch atleast 10+ videos on this is NO ONE has been able to explain and show examples as well as you did! Thank you again! I saved this video my play playlists so i have it to go back on just incase i get confused!
(Mask) Thanks Genevieve! This is great! I'm a traditional oil painter and I want to learn Procreate to compose different compositions before I commit to the canvas! This is a wonderful first step for me with your tutorial, so thank you ever so much for posting it!
Mask! Thank you for these awesome tutorials. Just switched over from Clip Studio Paint Pro to Procreate to try it out. Your videos are really helping my learning process. So thanks!
Hi Genevieve. I have been trying to understand Procreate for a few months now but, those « layers, mask layer and alpha lock layers » were kind of abstract to me. Watching your video makes it a bit more clearer. I’ll practice it as often as I need to make it second nature. Thanks so much for your help and enthusiasm in educating us to make the best out of Procreate. Rene L
Your tutorials are awesome! You have inspired me so much and brought back my passion for art, I have bought an ipad just to learn how to draw digitally, following along your tutorials. Thank you so much :)
Thank you so much for your tutorials! I'm completely new to procreate (and ipad) and I felt so lost and overwhelmed at first. But your tutorials help me a lot! (Mask!)
Mask! Omg i absolutely love your videos! I have always loved drawing on paper but I am brand new to digital art and your videos are so so helpful! So much so that I feel bad that they're free haha. You're amazing, please keep putting out new videos for noobs like me x
Mask- Genevieve you are AMAZING!! Thank you for explaining this so thoroughly, it's little things like this that take some of the frustration out of drawing :)
Mask! I gravitate more to clipping mask rather than alpha lock and i never use the mask. thanks for this tutorial. You can teach us anything and we will love it.
