Kevin -- In the first part of your tutorial, why could you not apply the Gaussian Blur Gradient directly to the Smart Object layer? Why did you have to make a new Flattened Layer above it, in order to apply the Gaussian Blur Gradient? Thanx!
frankly i think the 2nd image would of worked better without the big lens flare in the back the image is too dark for such a bright light source (sun) to exist in the back there it would of been much more atmospheric and dark if it was only coming from the old street lights (imo)
Hi Kelvin, I have almost all your bundles with lessons (101, workflow, masking en extraction and so on and on...). This i just got by e-mail today. In addition to by example Rikard Rodin or a Chris Orwieg or... you guys use the same platform, you use very old video's. This is made with 2015! Meanwhile Photoshop has tons of faster and better methods, why you teacht this not with the current versions? And i'd like to see some more nature close-up's to edit ;-)
Thank you for this...I was looking for a way to highlight an object but found your video. It gave me an alternate way to produce what I am looking for...guess I could say...found a better answer. Thanks much...
Fantastic Stuff! So far I've been using Knoll Light Factory for lens flares, but this way is better. And I think Add mode works better than Screen mode for flares to pop.
Hi! Thanks fot sharing. Very interesting videos. I was wondering something really quick. On the first image you desaturate the flairs with an adjustment layer and clipped to the flair. On the second one if you´ve wanted the same thing, how would you do it if the flairs are as a smart object. Would they work the same way? Clipping an adjustment layer to them?
Great ! Thanks. The level his to high for me actually but i'm still follow your lessons. Your studio looks like that of Serge Ramelli. He's a good teacher to. Joyeux Noël.
