I'll show you how to use the #Litchi #drone flight planning app to create a mission for a quick reconnaissance of an area, or to use like a skyborne transect for the purpose of calibrating and validating satellite data. This isn't the best technique to use for capturing data to create an orthomosaic or 3D model - check out our videos on DJI GS Pro and Pix4D Capture for that.

Great question - the idea is to try to cover as much ground as possible across different habitats. Going in one single direction would put the drone out of line of sight so it needs to come back towards the pilot on some angle. There are lots of different ways that we could have approached it!
