As a fellow lylia enthusiast here’s my recommendation builds and how to play her. First tip. It’s swap s1 and s2 order. Both of them slow and it’s much easier to land the old s2 slow to follow up with her old s1 slow to ensure you always land gloom. He’s right about mana and cdr! First item is always talisman and then cdr boots!(if you more conservative you can build cdr boots first) Emblem and talents: If you’re going lylia mage 100% go mage emblem for talents DO NOT GO INSPIRE(unless your emblem is not maxed). If you have a maxed out emblem this will give you 5% cdr if you have both it’ll be 10% the hard cap is 45% if you use both that gives you 35% left to max she needs talisman so that’s 15% left not many items give you 15% it’s usually 10% so you can’t run it bc you’re wasting stats! Personally I prefer rupture as it gives you the missing pen you would want from running arcane boots. Second emblem weapon master! Yes weapon master, 5% more ap for you to deliver more destructive capabilities. Nothing comes close to a second emblem outside of wilderness blessing for early to mid game rotating( another persoal favorite is PYT[pull yourself together] for more flameshot spamming for those enemies that do manage to escape on 1hp for now). Lastly since we are in the new meta you have 3 options. Impure rage- low cooldown good for high uptime. War cry- super easy to proc with her ability spam, allows for massive amounts of damage to be added during its 6s window with how much you spam skills. Lethal ignition- useful for those who manage to escape on low hp so that they burn out on the extra 750 dmg for it( unless they heal) Now let’s talk equipment. As we covered she need talismans and cdr boots, combined with a maxed mage emblem that’s 35% cdr which means she only needs one more for max cdr. and if you went with rupture weapon master well you’re in for a treat. Lightning truncheon might just be your new best friend😏 with enough magic power you can squeeze out an addition 1k damage to 3 enemies, yes an extra 1k! And to that I say lightning truncheon is out missing cdr item while also giving us more chaining capabilities bc it’ll weaken targets for us. Next we have holy crystal with the recent changes it takes over as the primary mage item for damage, but we’re not running 1 but 2! Yes you heard me 2, with 2 you have enough magic power to hit that 1k bonus dmg from lightning and lastly for our 6th item we’re gonna rock ice queen wand. This will not only give us 75 ap but 10% spell vamp which may not seem like a lot but when the math adds up. Our gloom explosion when he’s fully amp deal over 4k dmg before damage reduction. That’s a lot of healing coming back to use without the need to ult allowing you to hold on to it longer. Now lastly the new sweep of items have came and with it new playstyles. I now more so encourage war cry and not Lethal ignition bc sky piercer exist! Allowing us to finish otherwise easy targets. This allows us to use war cry to make up missing dmg (in the form of its 8% bonus)we will get into later. This will be replacing our second holy crystal. Next we’re also removing lightning in favor of wishing lantern. Wishing lantern will operate in similar fashion to lightning but also giving us chase down capabilities bc of the seekers(which iirc can trigger the execute). We deal more than enough dmg to trigger it condition and since it’s a a lot of current hp we are gaining back more of the damage we lost from swapping lightning and holy crystal. Lastly we’re changing ice queen for glowing wand! Now I know a lot of lylia Dean ice queen as part of her basic core where as I like to disagree bc her core is more focused around cdr so your first 3 items should fulfill that, ice queen is more a luxury and a survival aspect bc the healing and the extra slow, but remember our skills both already slow and they have massive slows too. So why glowing wand? Easy with the new merging of necklace if durance you get the best of both worlds max hp burn and healing and shielding reduction. Allowing you to deal with tankier targets even easier in conjunction with wishing lantern while also putting the breaks on fighters better with the anti heal. Combine all of this together we still have: -high magic powe to burst down squish targets(about 200 less than double crystal) -high anti tank abilities -chase down & execute abilities -anti healing -and self healing This build truly makes lylia hyper versatile
i had her in my early year of mlbb and i thought she was a useless mage. until i watched some mpl matches and i was surprised she was in meta (until now). she's not a favorite pick in rank. after i practice her more, now she become my core hero

I had to try this only once time because I had no idea what kind of mage it was, now I will first practice on A.I Hard and then play ranked matches. 😂 But I'm MVP lose , practice & emblem is most important ❤ thank you for Lylia tutorial 🫡
btw guys, you can do the 1st -> 2nd skill combo as well. Also lylia is NOT a popular and meta pick, meta rn are mages with alot of cc like vexana. Her ult does heal even if you had the same amount of HP 4 seconds ago although just a small amount
She's popular in Higher ranks ( Glory & Above) and I didn't show the 1/2 combo because I didn't want people to get confused, explaining just her second skill was hard and confusing, So I didn't wanted to make things more complicated so I just showed the most common and easiest combo
Lylia shines well when your team has front liner like fighter jgler and some tanky exp I do not recommend her to use when your team has squishy setup like having Natalia, ziling and assassins

true. lylia need a tanky roam, exp or jungler. but some explaner just dont understand how she works and usually explaner like to build full damage and die so fast in war

Lylia is good for any crucial role. But one of my hated part her seconds skills is to slow getting stock. Further, you most have to wait patiently. I am a Lylia user but I'll already use it in mythic rank. Slow but deadly any opponent who testing your heroes.
same lmao, I had no intention of buying her starlight but since I'm only on my last starlight month until I get 5k fragments for water lily Kagura, I just chose to buy starlight for april lol and I thought, what if I just learn to play lylia so her starlight skin is worth my money.
Hey is it okay to replace the first mage emblem talent to movement speed 3%? Since lylia is fast but not enough so if he can be more fast he can chase the enemy faster and spam second skill?
Yes u could use Agility if you want more movement speed, it depends on your playstyle, and if you are more comfortable with that, then it's totally okay
U dont wanna meet my hubrid lilia cuzz i need the sustain from tank items. Just enchanted and ice queen and glaive as mafic item. Next two items are defence item. She is so annoying.
The only weakness Lylia is the enemies with high mobility like wanwan and great cc like saber (i always ban him anyway) but it's fine when you use purify spell.
Yea they changed that when they nerfed her, back in the days u could use ur ult to reset your orbs, and using your ult would give you full stacks of orbs, but it was too broken so they nerfed her and now using her ult will not fill up her orbs anymore
She so funny to play i have never use her in tank bc im scared😂 im not a good player but i think She carry make me win and whe She is with Raphaëlla it’s just insane
Lylia neo beast is a limited event skin, So u won't be able to buy the skin, Unless moonton brings it back in the future, and if I get any updates about Neo beast coming back, I'll let u know
