Big bro Dash, before I even continue the vid - my expectations for the Giants: 1. Defense to be the strongest side of the field for the Giants 2. Special Teams to be improved 3. Offensive Line to perform better
I expect our Offense to be explosive, especially Wandale because he is the Truth!! Nabors will really open the Offense and Unlock the other skill players. I expect our Defense will really surprise a lot of fans because our Secondary will be really good in taking away the ball. I Believe that the NYG, if healthy, makes the playoffs this year. I'm really diggin how Schoen has built the roster
Robinson on quick underneath stuff, Nabers will be everywhere, Hyatt & Slayton deep, it’s gonna be lots more stress on Defenders… plus the RBs & TEs will be used too… can’t wait to see it
Dash ive heard so many people try to say Nabers is a slot guy smh lol. Its ridiculous. The guy was used all over the field to take advantage of miss matches. Numerous teams at the NFL level use their WR one just like Tigers used Nabers at the collegiate level. People out here just don't know any better. Keep doing what you do man, keep speaking the truth.
Okay, Malik Nabers expectations ... 1. I want him to make the most out of the opportunities he has. I like the idea of having Nabers play slot sometimes w/ Slayton (or Hodgins) and Hyatt on the outside. I agree, the WR room has a lot of potential and can open things up for the TEs and RBs. At the same time, I won't blame him if we have bad QB play. 2. I just want him to stay as healthy as he can.
I'm not gonna lie : DOMINATION that eagles win gonna carry over. I think Theo Johnson gonna come up big. Finally we can get back to those 10 sack games.
Not the BBL drizzy!!! 😭🤣 Ay real talk, im expecting to see improvements in the wr group, o-line and more defensive production. Good content as always... Im here for it!!
If Nabers can consistently get separation early, he'll starting drawing shallow double teams. That'll open up things for other recievers. I think success for Nabers means success for everyone, including the RB , as it'll bring more DBs ( and safeties) to the outside.
4 wide slayton & Hyatt on the outside while nabers & Wan’dale in the slot 🔥😮💨🙏🏼 if you want nabers in the slot or Wan’dale subs out with nabers in the slot & Hyatt and Slayton on the outside 🔥
Appreciate all you do playa I’m tempering expectations just want to see growth from the offense we avgd just under 16 ppg last season. I also need to see Kafka’s improvement as a play caller or if Daboll will takeover the calls. Lotta uncertainty so need us fully healthy to see where we are. I’m hopeful and optimistic but not bullish right now 🤷🏽♂️
I expect Daniel Jones to not play at all, if he doesn't waive the injury clause. I expect Nabers to get 1000 yards this season. I also expect Slayton to have a career high in yards. But I still expect us to finish below or around.500.
Malik Nabers gonna be tired as hell I hope he’s ready for that type of usage but super excited for this year I want to see him take to the house hope gets 14 tuddys this year
I agree our best three wrs, slayton and Hyatt outside and Nabors in the slot. Wandale needs to be used as a sproles/Patterson type back rather then a Wr to maximize him, and keep the offense moving. Ad a scat back he can motion to a second slot, be the safety valve he usually is anyway. It keeps all your playmaker on the field and actually uses their skills to the fullest. Lamb can give props to our guys but your still talking about more vertical threat recievers vs a gadget receiver who is hard to find past 10 yards
Hey Big Dash love the channel and content as usual. Imo the Giants will be more balanced and we need to run the damn ball, use play action to make explosive plays. Defense should be good 💯
@bigdashknows I believe what we have now can be a top 5 offense, problem is there's no oc to make it that. Now, if Daboll take over, then we're Gucci. I don't believe kavka wants to be here. He has the most vanilla offensive plays. I want to give you hella love. Out of all the giants ccs, you're the most down to earth and relatable one on RU-vid. Salute!!!
That is very high expectations but I love it. Top 5 would get Daboll an extension lol. I can't wait to get answers this year. There's a bunch of questions out there and Daboll calling plays is a top one. I think he let's Kafka start off calling the plays. I think I might make that an episode. Appreciate the kind words and support. I just try to be myself.
Yo that “Pause” after you said pure explosion was funny as hell you said that shit fast as shit….lol anyway this your Plainfield giants brother…bro all i do is study film , players, and giants tape I would love to talk giants ball with u one day…but I see them using Nabers how Stevie Johnson was used especially when Johnson lined up in the slot
This all depends on the coaches and the O line. The coaches need to get Nabers up to speed with the rest of the WR's. The coaches for the O line have a hard task in making them work as a unit. Too many changes in the O line is not good. It tends to keep them sloppy. So coaching is going to be key this year.
This is doesn't need to said, but the offensive line's putridity was the real reason Hyatt didn't have more production. Slayton probably would've had 1000 yards too. DJ wouldn't have had a second neck injury etc. That's all in the past now though.
With an improved Oline maybe they can finally unlock the potential of these WR's and ppl are sleeping on Bellinger a lot see if that Oline can give Jones enough time to make his 2nd read this offense just be able to average at least 24 a game 🙏🏿and if that plays like it looks on paper we'll be straight (NO MORE FREE SEASONS) as you mentioned b4!!!!!
I hope they move him around and don't marry him to one position...I think it makes us more difficult to scheme/play against...just creating matchups to take advantage. But man, I'm so excited to have 4 WR lined up tight...trips bunched...whatever let these guys run. Our 12 personnel is exciting too with Theo/Bellinger. Daboll needs to be in the lab right now.
I don't expect too much giving our history but ido expect more explosive plays by nabors and other players too but it will never be maximize as long as Jones is under center
He needs to be in the slot, that’s where he feels most comfortable and has the most space to be himself. Don’t force him to play the boundary all the time
Im looking for competitive football. I want to be in games with a chance to win at the end. I want to see a QB grab the bull by the horns. I don't care who it is, just get it done.someone who can throw the ball down field. I want to see our oline finally put it together. Even Middle of the pack, even average. I want to see this WR. room come together and be a force to be reckoned with. Nabors and Hyatt to be the guys we all hope they can be. Just a few things.
Listen we have Malik nabes,,,# 13, JHYATT the future,,, WRobinson,, and family,,,,and our # WR, 1 will make epic highlights and yesssss lot's of TD,,, well either way,,, Malik Nabes,,is a werewolf that's going to open the doors and the rest of the family will follow,,,,so it's 1-on-1,,, or double anyone and it's still 1-on-1,,, with the rest,,,so we good,,,
The Daniel Jones slander is out of control. Played at a top 10 level (6th in QBR) two years ago. Had four starts from start to finish in 2023 and now he’s below every rookie QB and career backups?
Last season was a total disaster for a variety of reasons (he played poorly, was w/o Andrew Thomas and Saquon for most of those 4 starts). But the idea he can’t play at all is just wrong.
We've seen more bad than good. I want to be wrong because if I am. That means the QB search is over and the Giants are contenders. That's what I want the most. I WANT TO WIN CONSISTENTLY
@@BigDashKnows true I want that as well also remember 2023 he consistently hit his receivers in the chest put it right on the pause no diddy but not of our receivers had hands drops all season consistently which caused Dj to play safe and run the ball which was successful that season with what was around him this season is make it break season wr room packed with wolves we will see if it’s Dj or the coaching
Hopefully the Giants will be using a QB who can get the ball to Malik Nabers and Jalin Hyatt. I don't think Jones will be able to do it. Will Drew Lock be able to utilise the talent of those two talented WR's? I can only hope. I really wish the Giants kept Tyrod Taylor here, but that's water under the bridge.
Nabers needs to line up everywhere in different formations and we need to get the ball in his hands in space so he can create YAC. DJ or whoever also needs to prove he can take the top off early and throw deep because Nabers will see mucho double-coverage and everything underneath will be suffocated until we make Defenses respect the deep ball and defend the whole field. Nabers can take screens, short slants, and reverses to the house and Slayton, Hyatt, and Wandale will have more space to operate short/medium/deep as well. Without Saquon here defenses likely will not stack boxes to stop the run but DJ will get blitzed heavy because teams know he can be rattled with pressure up the middle so ball needs to come out HOT and deep balls thrown earlier with more anticipation/aggression. A consistent/productive run/screen game and solid pass-pro will help the QB operate better too obviously. I want Daboll calling plays with an aggressive tempo and setting up D's with deceptive play-sequencing to try to help keep D's from keying so effectively on DJ's reads when they see similar formations/routes as DJ tends to stare down WR's like they was a bad bitch no Diddy😂- so basically run different plays/route combos out of the same looking formations and give DJ 2 pre-set hot-reads to try to use D's aggression against them...also force D's to stop blitzing so much with more empty backfield 5WR formations to create mismatches all over the field with our speed. If we can get our sus QB comfortable/functional by making the opp Defense as uncomfortable/dysfunctional as possible we will be able to better dictate tempo/terms and give the QB we overpaid the highest percentage chance to live up to that $47M cap hit and also enable Nabers to shine. Otherwise I wanna see what Lock can do with Nabers after Daboll coach bro up. No more excuses! Sorry about writing a Bible bro 😂 but I be thinking about this shit a lot😂
Never apologize for long comments. I appreciate everything you said and agree with all of it. These coaches gotta scheme these weapons. Get more creative. Like you said, the crutch of having Barkley is over. It's about the QB play and the blocking scheme. This year has to show us moving back into the right direction period.
I expect to go into the season really hype and then to be let down by bad QB play that causes us to win only a handful of games and finish with yet another top 10 draft pick. Realistically I expect 4 to 7 wins max
4 to 7 doesn't sound like a big gap but it is. Wait and see mode for me. High expectations for the defense and low expectations for the offense is where I'm at right now.
@@BigDashKnows I'm in the same boat. Our D-line looks great but they're gonna get tired being out on the field so often. 4 wins is a bit of a low end expectation with 7 seemingly more realistic in my opinion
@@BigDashKnows without a doubt and Jones has shown some flashes in his time I think the offensive line has him scared as a mf but if they can improve which I think they will maybe he will be willing to take the deep shots we have seen it before but also with nabers shiftiness and Robinson it's gonna be hard for them to cover jaylin Hyatt
I don’t see a winning team this year the Giants have one of the worst QB room in the league. I want to see the Giants become a stable organization again, I don’t think they have the players or the GM yet to compete consistently. I don’t think Malik is a better weapon than Saquon, and they weren’t consistent winners with him.
I think we're closer than you think it's just the QB play and that's a big deal. The biggest deal. If we as fans felt like we had the guy at QB no doubt, then we would be talking with a lot more confidence with the same exact roster.
I see us as a borderline playoff team. Our line will be better but not great. Average at best. Our offense will be average overall. To many "whatifs" as usual. Slaton is probaby gone if he holds out. But easily replacable. Our dfense will be pretty good. But I am worried about our number two corner. I am not sold on us having a great pass rush. We have two second tier pass rushers that may or may not get better. Also, we have made a few trades lately that look good when we do them. But somehow havent actually been very good. Because of this history and no other reason, I worry Burns may not work out as good as he sounds.
@cooldude7821 First, to be clear, I said if he holds out. How well did holding out work for Barkley last year? Barkley was way more important and better than Slayton. Slayton is a number 3 or 4 receiver on a good team. It won't be that hard. We potentually already have our numbers 1-3 recievers already. In case you haven't been paying attention, the Giants have been signing nothing but cheap free agents. Now you think they are going to open the bank for Slayton after letting more important free agents walk and not trying to sign the more expensive ones in free agency?
@@cooldude7821 It's supply and demand. When he got 6 million a year, he was worth it because we had no one better. But remember, he was almost cut the year before that. Now we have other better? and cheaper options. If Hyatt continues to develop, your going to see him get more targets and Slayton less. In my opinion, Slayton is a limited receiver who has reached his peak. He is really only good at running deep rout's, he drops too many passes and he doesn't play slot. Seems to me, Hyatt is Slayton with better hands, has room to grow and is much cheaper. Nabors, if he is what they claim he is, is a true number one that can do it all. And Wan' dale is the slot. So, the way I look at it is, that makes Slayton our number 4 receiver. "Maybe." Because they have a few others that may not be as good as Slayton but as the 4th receiver, they can be as productive as him for far less money. So, do they keep him after this season? Probably not unless he takes a huge pay cut or some sort of bad injury.
Realistically our giants are in rebuild mode. I’m predicting us to finish at the bottom of our division, and finish with a top 5 draft pick, and that’s ok. I’m expecting for our future stars to shine. Our running back room is trash. Offlensive line outside of our LT trash. Our Wr Nabers, Hyatt & Robinson and rookie TE will look great for our new incoming QB in next years draft. Our defense should be solid. But between Daniel Jones being trash, our Running back room trash and a trashy offensive line plus Kafka playing calling being too vanilla. I predict a 5-12 record. And it’s ok. We need to build through the draft. We aren’t close to the cowgirls or eagles talent wise. We are running neck and neck with the commanders talent wise.
Even though yes we are in a rebuild, its year three. We better be competing and moving in the right direction at least. When they got here we thought that year 3 should be the year....no excuses.
I’ll continue tuning in good, bad or ugly. Unfortunately I’m expecting another ugly season.. I think this will be Dabs last season. He’s a hot head that’s more brute than brains. If he’s supposedly this offensive mastermind. He should’ve fired Kafka and took over the play calling, but no that would’ve put him closer to the flames.
Giants might have the right coaching in line OL coach DC Special Teams they all picked players they wanted Nabers Nubin Phillip Theo Tracy day one contributors Oline 100% better offensively play calling should be executed better OLJohnson JohnsonDB LBOvie DTRogers WRAutman-Bell will all stand out in camp and hopefully make the 53 then WRJiles WRAsante LBWhite LBDrake OLDuplain DBGervin RBSmith will have a opportunity to compete in camp but Liam Thompson if he can play at this level he will be a gem hope he kills it at camp
