The crop factor on 6x7 cameras is actually 0.5x, so the 80mm will have a viewing angle similar to a 40mm on full frame, the 65mm will be a 32mm, the 43mm will be 21mm, etc.
Great review of a superb camera. One advantage of the 7 over the 7ii is that if you are fitting an L bracket it will usually (depending on the L bracket) cover up the cable release button on the 7ii so you won't be able to use it. The 7 doesn't have this problem because the cable release button is in a completely different position. So moral of the story is, if you have a Mamiya 7ii, want to use a cable release for long exposure and also want to use an L bracket, then choose your L bracket very carefully. How do I know this? I think you can guess lol
