if you have the paid version, maybe add one of these at: manycam.com/effects/search/?search=lower+third&yt0=#.XpbDCPhKi00 .. there is one called 'small' .. a long time ago in google hangouts we could add a transparent png graphice that we custom made in google slides and downloaded.. have tried, no success in making it happen in the free manycam .. NOTE: just as a small lower third with clear text shows up in your machine, maybe blurred when seen in a meeting as a user's bandwith maybe low, so a BIG lower third with BIG text a safer bet?

update: adding a new layer as a 'media file' DOES load my transparent png as a low third, yet as small, so a popup says, 'to move and resize' Upgrade manycam ...

There is another way, use obsproject.org and add the virtual camera plug-in, you can completely custom every thing on screen for free. I have not used it myself.. loads RU-vid video on it though.

Yes, just for your camera. In Zoom a host CAN chnage names, but that's just for the little white/grey bottom left zoom name box

you need to START manycam FIRST, otherwise zoom cannot find it as it has no idea it was, or is there ... try that...

@@MikeDownes Actually, I needed to downgrade to a previous Zoom release because the last one doesn't allow virtual cameras any longer.

@@SergioBlackDolphin there is a little hack you can do if your are on MacOS that was recently figured out. Here are the instructions to. This will make ManyCam and other virtual devices work again without having to downgrade. I upgraded to the latest 5.0 version tonight and it works Update Zoom to the latest version Install Xcode via Terminal xcode-select --install Once installed make sure Zoom is closed and run this in Terminal codesign --remove-signature /Applications/zoom.us.app/

@@SergioBlackDolphin hi sergio, i have updated zoom to Version: 5.0.0 (23168.0427) a few mins ago and manycam works fine (on windows 10) .. make sure manycam is running FIRST then start zoom.. also try uninstalling manycam and reinstall again..

No, just your own video, a host can rename a zoom user's name though.

do itt in this orderr: 1, open maycam to see yourself in the video 2, open zoom, and then select video source and you will see manycam as a video source.. IF YOU HAVE ZOOM OPEN first and then open manycam, zoom may NOT see the manycam as a video source ..

Short answer is no. If guest had manycam, then they set their own lower third. Which is why TV news etc use advanced video production software that allows a standard lower thirds for everyone

Thanks, another option is the free OBS that has a virtual camera plug in. Probably more technical to setup, but fully customization. That all said if ManyCam works for you .. \o/ ..

@@PeopleAndProjectsPodcast zoom have paid version called Webinar. I do not know if you can livestream both at same time. Essentially, you just need an encoder, like free OBS, and you can stream where you like, all at the same time (I think there is a service, maybe called 'stream anywhere' or something that allows what you ask)..

This will be a zoom feature, not ManyCam. In zoom, use speaker view, gallery view or pin a user. Try that.

Yes that's normal sometimes, yet audience sees it as normal. Check mirror image settings though.
