Dear Mercland. Because i am wondering why my W212 rear sensor is not beeping. At what distance (in cm) does it start to beep from the car's rear bumper to the object?
Mercedes have 99 problems and this is one. Can’t be adjusted. It’s supposedly more refined than a constant beep as you are supposed to use the visual display. The audible tone is just for when very close.
If they dont come on automatically, you have a fault. There is a button with "P" on it. If this is red and cannot be turned off by pressing the button, you have a fault.
