Thank you so much !! Your way of explaining things is incredible and I finally got it! All the other videos were not as explicit and clear, many, many thanks !
Hi, Great informative video..thanks.. but one quick question.. I am left with setting up Teams for our AGM which obviously involves around 30 residents. Not all of them have Teams nor Microsoft accounts. Is there anyway just to send our residents a link so they can just join the meeting like with Zoom? A lot of them are elderly and we want all this with min of fuss! And is there a way to email those residents automatically so we don't have to race away when we will be highly pressured ? Hope this makes sense and Thanks in advance.
I have tried using teams and it won't work on standard devices. Removed and reinstalled the software, reset the password, cleared the cache and reopened the browser. It usually responds with an error message, either there was a problem and try later or the email is already in use. It could be a keyboard to user error but standard intuitive troubleshooting is not helpful with teams. MS seems to have taken the Sony approach and overengineered it in my opinion.
The "team" at TEAMS needs to fix their email invites. They don't specify what timezone the meeting invite is for. MAJOR problem. So the app tries to guess what timezone each person is on, and it taylors it to that person. So invites look different for different timezones. But it guesses WRONG, so you will get a time, but no timezone. This causes major confusion and people showing up and hour early or an hour late for a meeting. So all this talking about TEAMS is really worthless until we solve the problem of knowing what time a meeting actually starts!
