Nice video mate. I'm quite new to Ai Art and still trying to find the best Ai machines to create art in the most different ways. Do you recommend Midjourney or is there options just as good or even better? Including those with paid subscriptions

I'd say test Pika and Runway side by side. I tried Runway, and in many cases it was worse than Pika, but lots of people use Runway too. The most important thing I try to keep in mind is that these tools are all mostly built on the same models and next year they'll all be much better today so if you learn how to use a few of them then you can apply that skill to any of the platforms.

It's all in the interpretation I guess...throughout the history of art there have been lots of new types of art forms that people don't actually think is art.

@@dundasbrands Art is open to interpretation, certainly... but how long will it be before I can just tell Netflix what kind of movie I want to watch and it will generate a full length movie that's never been seen before perfectly tailored for my enjoyment? These are scary times. What is everyone going to do all day? Smoke legal cannabis, gamble on sports that may or many not also be AI generated, get food delivered by drone produced in automated kitchens, and watch an endless stream of personally tailored entertainment 24/7... humans are quickly becoming obsolete.

@@nychris2258 search what people did when the first robot beat humans at chess. I think ai is a tool. Humans were not meant to just work jobs. This is a short phenomenon in the history of humanity. Do a quick google search of feudalism, and then the Industrial Revolution. I think it’s a valid point to think about what we’ll do, but humans aren’t humans just to work. We have ideas, we connect with other humans. And the biggest ideas have outlasted capitalism and economic systems. So the idea that humans are becoming obsolete is a myth.

@@dundasbrands People freaked out during the First Revolution, thinking the world would end and jobs would be lost, but we survived, grew, and improved and made those new 'tools' work for us. This is just another revolution that we learn and grow from; we create and adjust and make this industry work for us and not us for it. This is a 'tool.' When you started school, you didn't know how to use a pencil while learning to draw and print letters. But now you don't even think twice about it because you make that tool, the pencil, work 'for you.' I love your saying, 'Humans were not meant to just work jobs.' So many people only work jobs and have no life or remember how to express themselves through art, no matter the medium. Thank you for this video.
