How to use MU button in calculator
MU stands for Mark-up
It is used in retail industry most of times when a retailer want to give you a discount , he use mark-up technique.
Through MU button it will b very easy for him.

What are the different types of calculations the MU button can do? Like: 1.Find cost, 2. Find selling price 3. Find margin percentage 4. Find markup percentage. What am I missing? How does using the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operator combined with the MU button change the type of calculation that is peformed and output produced? I'm making a calculator for the Mirosoft Store.

For the 1080 cost and 60% markup I had to use a Margin multiplier value to acive the 2700 result you obtained. Why is that so?

Please check your maths. 1080 marked up by 60% is not 2700.

Not a very thorough explanation of the MU button on the calculator. You didn't even mention the "mark DOWN" feature of the button. Enter the total price, then press MU, then the minus key, type the number of the percentage to take off the price and press the % key. This will give you the final price after the mark down.

For your kind knowledge, after applying maths. You just need to do👇 1080÷40%=2700 Because we want to recover Rs. 1080 as 40% after discount of 60%. Literally there is no use of this MU button.

real price is what 60 percent 50 percent add mu price ..may I ask u what is my question.what is the differ price pls in ur mind as like me the lowest calculate mind .pls reply tnks bro
