Hello Creators, I recorded an updated video on how to create and sell AI generated tumbler wraps fast. It covers the new mockups generator features that make this process even easier. You can find it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qrQ_EOOs1_0.html
There are many possibilities within MyDesigns to do it all. I'll continue to create additional templates / workflows and share them with our Pro and Pro Plus users first.
I may be a bit biased, but I believe no other platform offers such a comprehensive suite of tools and features. Our bulk generation (mockups, data, print-files, publishing) and processing capabilities set us apart from the rest. 🚀
The tumbler mockups show the same image at the exact same size and angle on each of the three tumblers instead of distributed across the three to form a collage. Is their anyway I can fix this please? Thanks!
Curtis, any chance for tapered files not to be cut off like that, that will destroy seamless tiled images, could you transform the image on your end, instead of slicing parts of it away, you transform it to fit the tapered mockup? That way seamles tileable images will remain seamless.
Curtis I enjoy the video and love the illustrations of the video. But I would like to know if there are video that I can watch to manuever on My Designs if so I would like to sign up for your app. But I will watch the video again and stop and start to take notes.
Hello, Yes, we have a variety of training videos available inside MyDesigns to teach you how to use the app fully. We're actively creating more tutorial content too. You can find them here: community.mydesigns.io/c/video-training/
Hi, I need help! My design does not cover my entire tumbler. I have followed step-by-step what you do and nothing. I must be doing something wrong. Could you help me create my Tumbler, PLEASE and THANK YOU!!!
If it doesn't cover your entire tumbler, you can adjust the design dimensions within our Canvas system for the exact POD product you're selling (if POD). If it's digital, you can set custom dimensions in the canvas system and adjust the size of the design that way.
First off I love using Mydesigns and created a membership day one but I have a question. When you say the seamless pattern should have been prepared ahead of time in Midjourney what did you mean by that? Can you expand on that?
Hi Curtis, I have been using MyDesigns for quite a while not to create my Tumbler wraps following the exact method you show here, it's been amazing. Unfortunately many of these mockup templates have been removed recently for some reason (5 of the 10 that I have as favourites), the main issue for me is the Tapered Mockup template - I need this to create the PNG file, it also appears to be gone.
Great tutorial. But I'm unable to publish designs to Etsy using MyDesign. I have free plan but in pricing table on MyDesign website under free plan its mention that I can publish 24 designs per day. I created 4 listing and it was asking to subscribe when I click on publish. Can you please help? Thanks in advance!
You actually create the straight file at (2790x2460px), then use our mockups generator to create the "tapered file" with the output file type for this tapered mockup set to PNG. That will create the proper tapered version for your tumbler wrap. 😀
We’re the mock-ups already in my designs, or did you bring them in? Are we able to bring in our own mock-ups, too? I really have to learn more about my designs, it confuses me, and I am sure it is simple, once I learn to do it a couple of times.
Hello Curtis! I was wondering why my image is 144 DPI after I generate it with "Straight Tumbler" Mockup. I checked it with this method "Open with > Paint > File > Properties" and it's showing 144 DPI. I checked it with other image that I upscaled with another upscaler, and it's showing 300 DPI just fine when I open it with Paint. Do you have any idea why is this happening?🙌
Do you mean Dream by Wombo AI? Those are beautiful. New sub, I saw you on an interview, and finally your channel popped up, on my feed. Can you do this for free on my designs, or only in the paid plan? I really want to get my designs, but I was confused by it. I will be watching more of your videos. 😊
Thanks for this video! I am a little confused on one thing. Why would you vectorize a PNG file for sublimation Tumblers? Doesn't it then turn it into a SVG?
Hey Curtis, gread product. In a video, i saw how you can add a product, for example a t-shirt and add a sweatshirt for the same design. This would, i believe, save on listing fees, although only one item would be shown in the thumbnail. My question is can i do this with mixing digital and physical products? In this case, have a digital file download, but also the same design in a physical tumbler on the same listing?
Right now, multi-product publishing is only available with Print on Demand products. As we get more features rolled out, we'll look at the ability to add both digital & POD products to the same listing.
Thank you for this! But I have a question. In this process do I have to use the Dream AI? Because I use Leonardo AI and have a paid plan on Leonardo AI
Wow! This is awesome! Are you the creator of the Dream AI as well [just thought I'd ask lol] Brilliant idea however it was just a tad bit too quick because for me I AM ALL about that data that was skipped lol is there an in depth tutorial before/after sign up? Am curious to do a test drive 😂 ty for sharing :)
Yes, Dream AI is one of our features inside MyDesigns. We use stable diffusion (open source) as the underlying model for Dream AI along with our own custom adjustments.
Yes, absolutely. You would likely need to create your own mockups to upload and render in MyDesigns and understand the proper templates for said products, but you can do this quite easily.
Just subscribed and already got some listings up on my shop! Quick question… I know you vectorised the images but when doing the straight and tapered png, I’m guessing the designs are then not infinitely scalable, but I’d like to put the scale of the designs into the Etsy attributes. Is that the canvas size we change it to already or n your tutorial? What would that be in inches?
Technically, if your input file is at 2790x2460px (9.3"x8.2" inches), and you use our tapered mockup to create the tapered file, it should still be seamless.
Depending on the image type, vectorizer isn't going to be ideal. If it's a simpler image with a smaller amount of colors, it works great. If you have a realistic image, it's not ideal for that.
Hello I'm very interested in getting a top tier subscription for my digital files. My only worry is what will happen if this company goes out of business or goes a different direction, since the files are going to be hosted on your server? Thanks in advance!
It shouldn't be an issue. In the future, we'll look at improving our digital integration too and possibly enable an option to split ZIP files and post them directly to Etsy.
What if we want to purchase a mock-up we like from Etsy can we put that mock-up into my designs or can we only use the preset mock-ups that my designs provide ?
Hello, this was a great tutorial and I was able to follow it. I was just wondering what image quality settings you had? I know the higher quality ones cost more credits and I don't want to go overboard with quality when I don't have to and waste credits. Thanks!
do you have a video on how to use Dream AI in more detail? I have a printable sticker shop on Etsy and I have only 290 sales for 2 years of blood sweat and tears thank you for your video!
I'm uploading images that roughly 4000x5000 px, but once they are uploaded and I open the canvas view to resize them they are compressed to 2847x1491, which shows as low PPI. Why is this happening? Is it a limitation on a free account? or a glitch? Edit: signed up for a pro account but the same thing is happening :/
We never compress images so I'm not entirely sure why that's happening. I'm quite certain the images you're uploading aren't 4000x5000px. Are you exporting them from Illustrator? If so, check your settings (artboard, and 300 DPI, ect.)
MidJourney is amazing. We are releasing our Chrome Extension for MidJourney/Discord on Monday or Tuesday next week. It will enable you to effortlessly generate images in MidJourney, save to MyDesigns, and do everything else in bulk at the click of a button.
That would certainly be useful. Very interested but the Pro Plus price is pretty high. you know if MyDesigns will have any discounts or sales coming up? 75/month is pretty up there..
Hi I have been following along with this and I joined with the pro monthly, but I am getting lost right around 8:19 in this video. Also I wanted to ask if you pre-filled in the descriptions, keywords, and tags there? Yes please point me to more video instructions if there are any for this. My listings still say demo? Zain is a good chat support guy btw.
Yes, you just have to drag n' drop your images into empty file slots on the same listing. Then, you can select the file slots that contain these images to sell during the publishing process.
@@jayjayf9699 yes, go to the Listings page inside MyDesigns, create a collection and select it (top left), and then click the Upload button to the right. You can upload your MidJourney generations from your PC if you've saved them.
If you're creating seamless patterns, you would need to make sure they're at 2790x2460px before uploading them to MyDesigns. If the base image is already at the proper dimensions, you don't need to use the canvas system to prepare it.
Yes, this would work perfectly. You would have to create your own custom mockups in Photoshop utilizing smart object, then upload them to MyDesigns. From there, you could render your mockups in bulk and also create custom mockup assets for creating your own license plate sublimation files.
If it's separate products, each order has it's own PDF. If it's the same product with multiple images (bundles), the customer still gets a PDF with a download link to a ZIP file that contains all the files.
@@Thomas-ss5jz not at all. The customer gets instant access to the PDF that includes a download link to the file you're selling as soon as they purchase it.
You can add them at the template level to have them auto-populate each time you add new designs to a collection. I also added the title, description, and tags I used to this video description above.
Yes, of course. You can upload as many designs as you like by dragging n' dropping them all into the upload page. Secondly, you can publish up to 48 at a time on the Pro Plan and 120 at a time on the Pro Plus plan.
@@jayjayf9699 yes, we make this very easy to do. Generate your mockups, then go to Canvas system, change input file to your mockup, then upload your logo / place it where you want and then click the green "Sync" button to apply it to all selected listings, and then change output file slot to replace the same input file slot. You can do this in bulk and very quickly.
@@CurtisBlackmore ok but do I have to do this every time I bulk upload though, isn’t there a way I can modify the preset generated mock ups with my logos ?
You can do product/keyword research on Etsy to find best selling products, analyze them, and take notes. Then, create something better with more optimized titles, descriptions, and tags (aka keywords).
Please, Curtis help me. Im trying to sell Tumbler design on Etsy as well. But I need some help. I'm stuck on somewhere in the process of upscaling the images, how to make thank you letter and how to put the link in that thank you letter and many other issues. Do you have discord by any means?
Have you checked out the video training at MyDesigns? We have videos that cover almost every aspect of our app: community.mydesigns.io/c/video-training/
