OK I just did mine(first timer) I have some tips to share from what I learnt my experience. 1. I overestimated the viscosity of the liquid. It is very light, just slightly thicker than water. This caused me to lower the glass with less care than I needed to, causing air bubbles. You will have a lot of excess liquid, definitely have a feel of it first by trying it on something else (such as on a scrap plastic film, cut it into two and put the liquid in between, have a feel of the liquid and how light it is). 2.mask everything on the sides. If it is your first try it can get messy(like I did). There WILL be liquid overflowing out from the sides. I'm relieved I did not take a shortcut and did mask all the sides with tape. Use normal tape, run it all around so you don't miss anything like the sim slot, mic hole etc. 3. Absolutely make sure there is no oil on the surface, even if really little. Use rubbing alcohol if you have to. Otherwise, the liquid will be hard to stick to it. I had a corner which apparently has some unseen oil, but lucky it was only a small corner so I could get the liquid to stick by pressing it with a fingernail while shining th uv light to cure while I apply pressure. 4. Put your liquid in a circular spot exactly like the video. This ensures the smallest perimeter for volume, which helps reduce possibility of air bubbles. Do not do fishbone or any other patterns which is suitable only for more viscous (thick) liquids. 5. Mentally prepare yourself that once you lower the glass it should be downwards all the way. Do not lift it even by 1mm. Lifting it will cause a large retraction of the liquid which will draw in air bubbles. (Like I did). If that happens, don't give up,lower the whole glass and push out the bubbles which can be done perfectly. This is one place where the low viscosity is actually helpful. You can push out even micro bubbles for long distances with perfect result unlike non uv adhesive. 6. The uv light cures the liquid faster than you think. It takes only about 10seconds to harden the amount at each direct spot below the uv light, between the tempered glass and the screen to a non-flowable state, holding the light at about 1 inch. 7. The end result is so worth it, it actually feels like you are using the screen without tempered glass! It is that awesome! This feels completely different from normal tempered glass. If u tap the screen with the uv light while you are curing the liquid u will hear the sound like you tapped glass, not a plastic sound like if u tap a normal tempered glass. This is because the liquid bonds the tempered glass to the screen on a much more nano level.
REMEMBER THIS BEFORE DOING if ur first time done it make sure that you put tape on the speaker (important) and button if needed....... bcuz evwn though i change this type of temper thousand time i still use tap to minimize the risk
Just a heads up guys Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G. You must tape up the earhole speaker, Power & Volume buttons on the side & the S-Pen Gap area near the bottom of the phone. Why because the Liquid Glue Adhesive will seep into the Buttons & S-Pen causing it to harden and become permanently stuck meaning your whole phone is now fucked lol. Just make sure absorb & dry any access liquid glue oozing out with a cloth or papper towel. UV light at least 30sec to 60sec on top, middle & bottom & edge sides.
This glass is fail if u put this chemical u.v glass yr volume key and on/off key will corrupt and ur phone warranty will be lost If u don't believe me after u put the glass check after one
I'd like to give you a suggestion: the uv lamp starts at the edge. The sticker with "除尘贴" is for you to remove dust from the screen, and the strip sticker is for you to seal the receiver to prevent glue from entering. Personal opinion.
Just completed this on my new s10+. 1. I used tape over the buttons and speakers because well...it made me feel "safer" 2. Before placing the protector on the glue, I cleaned it too with the alcohol wipe and wiped dry as well as remove dust 3. Once protector is placed down try not to move the phone. I thought tilting it would make glue go all the way to edges but just caused the proctector to slide 4. I was shit scared as my phone is basically brand new. But it worked so well just take your time. Make sure you're not in a hurry. Relaxed and not needing to go loo or anything 😅
glad it worked for you but i tell everyone that a case with a built in screen protector is the simplest solution i been using them with success since the S8+ my note 9 sits safely in one and i bought one for my pearl white S10+ although i have yet to open my S10+ it's still in it's shipping box it's been there for 2 months now but yea a case with a built in screen protector is a can't miss proposition i swear by them my phones have survived numerous falls on concrete
@@andreiceban438 on some of the cases with the built in screen protectors yes it works but the others let you know that they're cases aren't compatible with the in screen finger print scanner but i bought one where it is compatible
Just a heads up guys Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G. You must tape up the earhole speaker, Power & Volume buttons on the side & the S-Pen Gap area near the bottom of the phone. Why because the Liquid Glue Adhesive will seep leak into the Side Buttons & S-Pen causing it to harden and become permanently stuck meaning your whole phone is now fucked lol. And Rescan your finger print scanner again afterwards and put sensitivity settings to on max 👍
Such a long and fully technical name " Nano Optics Curved Edge To Edge Liquid UV Glue Tempered Glass for Samsung iPhone .." It gives you a feeling that how advance your phone became by just applying a glass gaurd on it as it is ready to connect your galaxy handset directly with the aliens on mars.
Special note. For someone are not experienced this attempt. DO NOT DO THAT except installed by professional. And also, make sure you have a right tools and also backup UV liquid just in case if there maybe fail at 1st attempt. And final, always level your table seriously because liquid can move by gravity if there not well leveled.
I just did mine in s galaxys7edge. GOOD ADVICE: cover with stickers all holes, buttons otherwise you will end up like me with needle trying to remove glue from underneath it ;-/ and some of them not working.
I bought this in Mall and the shop attendant helped me install it. I did pay extra for it but the result and service is worth the extra few bucks.. Many things could go wrong. Thank you for sharing your process. That shop attendant deserve the extra tip.
If the glue gets into the volume keys and the earpiece would it get stuck and cause problems ? I mean is this really safe for out very expensive devices?
You would not want the liquid to cover your earpiece. You'll not hear a thing from that after that. I spent hours using nail polish remover and what not to poke holes on it so that I can take phone calls again and to gain back my S9's stereo speaker. Now, it's a little distorted but better than before. Gonna get those normal "dot matrix" protector since I could increase the touch sensitivity of the phone so it wouldn't be such a pain to use like my S8. 😱
Hi, thanks for the video. I would like to know if when this protector with its liquid is removed to leave the screen without any kind of protector would there be any residue or mark on the screen? Thank you. Hola, gracias por el video. Quisiera saber si cuando este protector con su liquido es extraido par dejar la pantalla sin ningun tipo de protector quedaria algun residuo o marca en la pantalla ? Gracias.
Be careful with the ear speaker front top part, if somehow the liquid gets stuck will block the tiny holes of the front ear speaker so as you won't listen anything!!!
Man you guys love this video you guys are gonna love reading the fucking box instructions to this dump product. Even after I placed some stickers to block the glue to from getting into the speakers it somehow got in it hardened I can see it under light and after being so careful with it I got an air bubble 🤦♂️ you can’t fix the air bubble
1st : u should cover the earpiece with some tape to avoid the liquid to sip into the earpiece. 2nd: you shouldn’t press the glass while the liquid is flowing because you will create a rainbow effect once the glue dried due to un even pressure and surface of the liquid 3rd: this uv glue will remove the oleophobic coating of the glass when you remove it in future. Unless you dont care about the oleophobic coating then its okay to use this type of TG.
@@korinnakriskintanar3301 every phone screen will have a layer of coating. It will make water slide very easily. You may watch the video explaining this oleophobic coating as i cant explain it wll to you. If you apply this UV glue, it will remove the coating and this coating cannot be reapply.
@@korinnakriskintanar3301 yes! The UV glue can get in the screen gap (frame and glass) and cause damage to your screen. Samsung for example wont accept your phone if its damage by uv glue. U have to pay for the screen if u were to damage it. Also, if its find its way to your earpiece, its gone, forever because once its cure by the UV light it hardened and it will not be able to be remove unless u changes your earpieces mesh or the earpiece it self. Same goes to side buttons, if u didnt wipe it down before curing it, you may as well say goodbye to your buttons..
Es fácil, solo la quitas como una mica cualquiera, ya lo he hecho. La primera me quedó horrible y tuve que sacarla porque no me gustaba, la segunda ya quedó perfecto.
i have a quesiton, does applying uv glue lessen the sensitivity of the screen? or its not reading the finger faster? or it improves the sensitivity? sorry my english is bad, i hope you understand and answer. pls thankyou
Please provide me a link to but the same exactly glass to buy online. I have tried somany glasses but nothing is fitting like this. This is a perfect glass for note 9.
Question tho... How to remove the glue smell of the tempered glass?? Since I've done the messy way to do this :3 sometimes I could feel the stickiness of the glue whenever my hands gets sweaty
Wow you are so stupid then as it comes off more easy than it takes to put it on and with no residues afterwards, but I guess the stupid love only the edges stuck down and wonder why those screen protectors are crappy!
