Cool... my first camera was a Cosina, bought in 1972 or so. I got it with a used 50 mm/1.4, and also bought a Soligor 135mm with it.

I always thought the negative space is black, but now I'm wiser.

I don't agree that a wide angle lens is better for negative space images. You can simply use a very fast lens, so that most of the image is blurred out.

Nice lesson - as always. Gonna send some pictures for You. Not sure do I understand perfectly that negative space. I always think that's the background of the subject - it can be clear sky, or blurred stuff. It would be great to hear Yours opinion.

In the following image I would have cropped to a 16 x 9 except for those clouds at the top. My question is this: Should I have cropped the top of the image? Thank you for your videos.
