I am so pumped up.. you reviewed my car image on your previous video, and now I am sending you a Bokeh Panorama car image with lots of negative space, taken with my Olympus EM-5 mkII !! Cheers! 😀
Somedays i have thinking, is negative space that space when you are too tired and have no inspiration to take photos..😁? Or that space when your films are only negatives..🤔..
I don't agree that a wide angle lens is better for negative space images. You can simply use a very fast lens, so that most of the image is blurred out.
Nice lesson - as always. Gonna send some pictures for You. Not sure do I understand perfectly that negative space. I always think that's the background of the subject - it can be clear sky, or blurred stuff. It would be great to hear Yours opinion.
Thank you Peter. I always enjoy your videos. Like you I see long and not always wide, but I like to play with the foreshortening of a long lens. In the following image I would have cropped to a 16 x 9 except for those clouds at the top. My question is this: Should I have cropped the top of the image? Thank you for your videos. Keep them coming. flic.kr/p/DNB4f1 Regards, Jeff
I dont think so. The black clouds at the top makes a nice frame for the photograph. It needs a small white line around. In Flickr with a black back ground its hard to tell where the photographs ends. Nice photo!
