@@3dPrintCreatoryou and me both. I dont k kw why I cant understand the internet or technology these days. Its gone way past its limits a long time ago IMO but I'm just mentally challenged when it comes to computers and could use all the help I could get. And yes I "LITERALLY" typed in "How to use Nordpass" amd this popped up...I mean wth🤷♂️🤷♂️ I've dealt with some difficult frustrating things but these new phones and tech take the cake EASY! I think my brains going to explode trying to figure this stuff out...
Excellent review, as always. But Vaughn, you should have mentioned what was not good about it. For example, it could do a better job importing passwords with TOTPs and notes and attached files from password managers such as Bitwarden, or How lagging it can be on some computers.
I hate it but if I could figure it out I'd probably love it. Not that its hard to use I'm just not tech savvy but tech mentally challenged! Everytime I figure one thing out they come out with a newer more complicated version and auto add it to my phone!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😖😖😖 I feel like my brains going to explode if I dont figure this out soon or get some help as any and all is MUCH APPRECIATED!!!🙏🙏👍
Now, 7 months later, the browser extension has improved even more. The new extension doesn't require using the desktop application. It has more fully integrated the custom fields into the auto-fill interface, allowing you to fill special information right from the entry field on the website. Copy/paste is no longer necessary. This is a big step up. The only thing left is the ability to fill in TOTP codes, like Bitwarden, 1Password, Synology C2 Password, and Zoho Vault do.
Sadly, Nordpass has ended their web interface. You will need to use either the application or the browser extension. Both work fine, but I prefer to edit my entries from the web.
i can share passwords to other users but what we will do with the reveal eye ? all pc has this 'shos password'' button . nord pass icon overlaps reveal eye icon ?
Thanks for the video, which I thought was helpful. Ive bought Nordpass premium, I just cannot get the autofill to work. Im on Ubuntu Tried Vivaldi and Firefox. Any help would be appreciated.
Many password managers conduct password iterations (rehashes). For example, LastPass does 100,100 iterations of the master password in order to make it more secure from being reverse engineered. Does NordPass do the same thing to master passwords? If not, is password iteration even necessary with XChaCha20 encryption?
