For all the normal odrive devices, they say you need a USB power isolator to safely provide power from you powersupply while having USB plugged in. Is that needed on this board as well, or was that resolved via hardware and not a concern on this board? (I have the Flipsky odesc v4.2)
@@FlipskyTech Thank you. One additional question. Is it possible to use an AS5600 magnetic encoder? I am not seeing which pins could be used to connect it. Do no I2C connections exist, only SPI?
@@mosth8ed The SPI mode of AS5600 is not supported. TLB5012 and AS5047P are recommended for magnetic encoders using incremental mode. AS5047P is recommended for SPI absolute mode. You can find the Interface definition diagram via this link :flipsky.net/collections/od-drive/products/odesc-v4-2-single-drive-high-current-high-precision-brushless-servo-motor-controller-based-on-odrive3-6-upgrade-software-configuration-compatible-with-odrivetool-foc-bldc
When I do dump_errors(odrv0) I get system: not found. I think it's a firmware software mismatch. Tried with Zadig tool and matched instructions but no dice. odrv0.fw_version_major shows 0
Followed the Sequre instructions for the 4.1. Basically you need to install version 0.5.1 of the ODrive Tool or it won't work. Try this command if you're stuck "pip install odrive==0.5.1.post0"
Could you guys make a upgraded 75100 for ebikes or other vehicles, make it for more sustainable heat dissipation with more features like flux weakening, connect to all displays like compete with the phase runner from grintech and make it cheaper.... Also 100v and high amps please 150a love you guys 🥺 we need better controllers and no one's doing it or it's ridiculously expensive 🫰 2k
