Option sets in bubble io are basically a static list of choices that are global to your app. You just have to define them once and use them wherever you need a custom data type.
They behave like a Data type of their own but are significantly faster to load. You can use Option sets with dropdowns, and radio buttons or even use them to create a menu in your Bubble app

This was very useful. However, the use of the label "dropdown" as the descriptor for the option set created a lot of confusion and ambiguity. The Option Set IMO should be named after the type of options it offers -- something like "progress status". No data entity should be named after a UI control type - but rather after the unique and distinct business function for which it is associated and the specificity it provides. Just the same, thank you for your useful advice.

I have three combination of log in . One is job seeker and another is Recruiters. So before tapping sign up button they should select which category they belong to. Based on the category, the next page will be shown How to do this in bubble io
