When joining meetings with Otter, can other participants in the meeting see that otter is logged into the call also? If so, is there a way for otter to just show up as your name and not with the otter name attached?
If you use the OtterPilot (logging in to the meeting via the URL pasted into Otter, or auto from the meeting in your linked calendar). Your 'bot' will show up as ' AI Pilot'. Keep in mind that the bot doesn't just enter the meeting, it requests access and the meeting admins have to allow it. What you can do is while in the meeting attending as your regular self to simply hit the 'record' button. That method loses the ability to identify the meeting speakers by name and instead says , 'Speaker 1', 'Speaker 2', etc. You can follow up afterward and manually put that info in if its important to you. Using that method, Otter does not show up at all in the list of meeting attendants as it's not a logged in member of the meeting. Good product, not perfect. Transcriptions are good, but not always perfect. Saving grace is that you have the audio so you can hear the meeting play out.
