does reloading the page with parameters still make it a single page app or only using states?

Don’t use url parameters, use states instead. Url parameters makes security much harder. Say you have an admin area an use “?tab=admin”, now everybody can go to that page and you need to be much more carefully to lock the page down. With states, you effectively can make sure no one can snoop and manually change the parameters. Also as the url often will be used to pass other parameters, it can often look messy in the navigation

What if i want clean urls using path segments as a list? how do i do it?
