@@olivercripps6143 If you have not made flashcards, there's no point in making them - I'm being real with you, you can watch YT clips and they'll explain things in a lot of detail & do a better job than flashcards! If you need to learn content, watch video clips from this channel and then once you have watched the clip you can do some blurting/recall of everything you learnt from the video(s). Once you are confident on the content, get onto some exam questions. Really look into dissecting the mark scheme as they can be very specific - that's where people lose marks as they know the content and have put the correct answer but it may not have been worded in the right way. I do some past papers and questions and I’ve gone from a GCSE grade 3 to grade 5 in 6 months with some of the past papers I am doing ! I take Biology and it’s the only subject where when I do past papers I think something in my head, trick myself to not write it even though it’s in the mark scheme to not waste time and lose marks even though I knew the answer it’s like some witchcraft or something.
If I do past papers from other boards... aren't the mark schemes going to be slightly different? So will I be at disadvantage? Or can I follow the mark schemes of other boards too? P.S. I do AQA
They will be slightly different - but the big advantage you'll have is that you see so many more questions on the topics you will be assessed on for AQA.
Hey sir, I’m a year 12 student, studying OCR A physics and am bordering on a B/C. How can I be predicted an A? Is it still possible for me to achieve at least a grade A for AS and A level?
so from now I’ve started to revise hard for my a level exams and i need to know if it’s possible to go from a C to an A, like is that a realistic goal?
My problem I'm finding it hard to do past papers questions. Mostly I make a lot of mistakes and it's hard to understand a level physics. What shall I do?
Don’t do past papers before you know content though thats pointless! You do papers to consolidate learning not to learn the content. If you don’t know the answers study mark schemes and notes first then go back to it!
