glad to have you back Leslie. I have missed your crafting videos. enjoyed seeing all the photos of your trip. stay safe until we see your happy face again. hugs to you and Joe.
+pearl hudson Thank you, Pearl. I'm glad you enjoyed this video on Pearl-EX. And thanks for traveling with me across the country :D. Hugs to you my Bionic friend - Leslie
Hello from PA, Leslie. Enjoyed your video. I am new to the Pearl-Ex product line and other similar products, and I just purchased my first little jar of it, so your tutorial is a good jumping off point for me to experiment with mine. I have had the Stampin Up Two-Way Glue for some time, used little, and this will allow me to use it more! Thank you and God's blessings be upon you and those you love. I especially enjoy your helps about cutting down and using up scraps. I recently spent a day cutting down all my cardstock and designer paper scraps, and let me tell you, what an enormous help! It took a mountain and made it into a mole hill! See you next time!
+Elizabeth Hansen AWESOME!! Girl....since I am too far away from you to give you a pat on the back for tackling that giant project of cutting down your scraps.....Give yourself a pat from me. Better yet, have someone else do it for you....can't have you dislocating your shoulder and not be able to craft :-( LOL I appreciate you leaving a comment on this video. Leslie
Thanks, Leslie! As I have RA and Fibromyalgia really badly, I asked my DBH (dearly beloved husband) to give me the pat on the back, and he did. I just had never thought about trimming my scraps down! You see, I am a sewer / quilter, and saving larger scraps of fabric is always in the best interest for that, and so I guess I was thinking the same way about my paper scraps. Can't believe what a difference this is making in the re-organization of my papercrafting! Hugs!
Great tip! My sister gave me some pearl ex she had stashed away but it was hard, had no idea how to make it work. Woot! now I know. Good to see you home and safe from your road trip. :) Missed ya! Followed your travels on facebook, glad you had a good time.
+Vera Huddleston Thank you, Vera. Yes! Woo HOO! Now you can use some of your Pearl-Ex stash on your creations. So glad I could help you with that. I'm also glad you are following me on Facebook. We are off again this week for a while. I hope to be back home sooner so that I can make more videos. I appreciate you my friend - Leslie
Good to see you Leslie love the card I had got some pretty eye shadow that I don't use anymore Hummmm thinking I could use like you did with the glue thanks have a great week ❤️
+QuiltingConnieB Connie, I think this technique would work very well with eye shadows, brilliant idea you have there. I hope you can soon find relief for your knee pain :-( Hugs to you my friend - Leslie
Hi from Louisiana, sweet Leslie! I have missed your smiling face and delighted to see some new videos. It looks like you and your husband have such fun and that is so nice to see! When I moved back to Louisiana from Texas last year, I debated about whether I should keep my Pearl-Ex. But I kept them, because they were too pretty to throw away! Thanks for sharing your technique with us. Be safe on the road. I'll look for you on Facebook. P.s. If you guys come through Central La. I'll cook up some gumbo for y'all!
+Annette Word Thank you, Annette, for the fabulous invite! We were just through Louisiana last week delivering in Shreveport. Your streams, rivers, bayous, and swamps are running nearly bank full! This spring is going to be hard on y'all. The rice and catfish farmers will love all the water. I'm taking my stash of Pearl-EX to use in my card making on the road. Hopefully I can assist you in using your pots saved in the move from Texas back to Louisiana :D Leslie
Safe travels Leslie! Thank you for your wonderful video!Would you believe I was given 2 pots of perfect pearls, yes I know they are different than Pearl Ex, almost a decade ago and only learned how to use them this month?
+Jesse b WOO HOO!! Learning to use something hanging about for quite a while. I'm sure you will find a lot of things to use that product on :D YAY Leslie
+Suzie Bender Perfect Pearls, by Ranger Industries, has a glue of some type mixed in with the mica and pigment powder - you only need to use VersaMark to make the stuff stick. Perfect Pearls is a great way to make your own Shimmer sprays. Pearl-EX is only pigment and mica powders. You need to add a glue to make them work in card making. If you work with FIMO clay you can add the Pearl-EX into the clay making process for the luster. Hope that helped answer your question. Leslie

Loved it Leslie!! Also, your 1,2,3,4,5 trick for editing, brilliant!! Thanks for all the tips!! xoxo Jen I know I have pearl ex somewhere in here!! hahaha!
+Jen Evers Thank you, Jen. How are you doing? I know you had a pretty rough patch before the holidays, and I'm sorry that I did not let you know that you were....and still are....in my thoughts and prayers. Please feel free to use my 1,2,3,4,5 trick in your video making :D Thank you for watching my video and leaving a comment. I appreciate you my friend. Leslie
I'm doing extremely well! I hope to find out this week that my body is fighting off the virus still... and I just became a licensed Zumba instructor!! woot! I'm pursuing my dreams one day at a time :) xoxo Jen
+Janie Rivera Hello there my friend. How are you feeling now.....a couple weeks after your surgery? I hope you are moving easier and the rest of your family is trying to keep up with you :D Thank you for watching my video and leaving such a sweet comment. Hugs - Leslie
Hi Leslie, thanks for the video I found 7 mini jars of pearl ex at my local goodwill store for .59 cents! I wasnt sure how to use them, thanks for showing me! Looking forward to more of your tutorials! Be safe and have a great day!
+Barbara Pannell You are very welcome, Barbara. I hope you find ways to use your Pearl-Ex in your creations :D Thank you for watching my video and leaving a comment. Leslie
I just got some of this the other day and it looks really cool however it's new to me I'm not familiar with it and all I could really find online was how to put it on clay or fingernails. So I thought I would ask you. Basically I'm wondering if I can use it on things other then arts and crafts. Like on carbon fibre bikes, wood/metal guitars, plastic toys/ drones ,or cell phone cases ect. Would I have to apply it the same way? You mentioned it always needs to be mixed with some kind of adhesive. If I just rub it on it will just come off eventually correct? any tips on the best way to apply it to any surfaces I mentioned? Or any specific surfaces I should avoid? Thank you for your time. Cheers from Canada.:)
Hi Leslie, new subbie here. I have some of those Pearl-ex powders too. Great Idea. Found you while looking for Craft room organization ideas. Your video was very helpful. Love your humor and relaxed approach to the problem. I have about 40 years of supplies that I need to tackle. You were very encouraging. You be careful out on the road. My son-in-law just started driving truck. I worry because the other drivers out there do not have courtesy for the truck drivers. Look forward to more of your videos in the future. :) Chris
+Christine Bell Thank you, Christine, for your very kind comment. I wish your Son-In-Law lots of good wishes and safe travels. Over the past few years we have learned that passenger vehicles are not the only drivers to watch out for. There are some truck drivers that are just as bad - only worse because of their size! 40 years of craft supplies!? You have some of the original goodies!!! I'd love to come play in your space sometime!!! Thank you for sitting through that hour long video. I appreciate you. Leslie
I’ve had my pearl-ex powders forever too. I really never knew how to use it. Do you need to spray a fixative on top of the powder so it does rub off? The fixative I’m referring to is the type you use for chalk drawings. Thanks.
+Bootoyou298 Thank you, Boo. I have missed being home and in my craft room....but I had to go help Joe, and will continue to help him for a while. I don't know when I will be home once again to do more videos. I'm very happy to hear that you are following me on Facebook so you can keep up with me. I appreciate you my friend - Love you -- Leslie
I'm feeling much better! Thank you for asking. My family is doing well. It's great to see you home and crafting. If you go out please be careful out there.. Thank you for keeping us posted while you are on the road. Love all the pics and fun videos. Regards to Joe. I love the way he refers to you as his bride. So sweet . Love you guys.
+Janie Rivera So glad to know you are well on the mend. Joe sends his sincere thanks and appreciation to you for your kind words toward him. I love that man of mine and still don't know how I got so lucky :D
