Good stuff. Not sure if you know but with that many layers the "Layer Selector Tool" next to the "Text Tool" is you best friend. Just click on the layer and it'll take you directly to that layer.
Another helpful tutorial. I see in your second part you've removed the lines. I don't know if I missed it, but it's worth pointing out that physics does not account for or use line widths - that's why your objects are moving down when you play, and why you found it hard to stack them. Also @12:17 you needed to click the apply button :P
Hey Poptoogi, Nice video. At 12:30 you did not apply those density change, that was the reason it was not working. I know you might have realised that later but it might help someone who watches this video now.
11:35 -- Am I the only person who was screaming at the screen..."Hit the APPLY button!!" every time you made a change to the boars head? LOL, otherwise, thanks for the great tutorial...
What are your thoughts on using tablet/stylus vs mouse? I'm considering a Cintiq style device, where you draw on the screen. It seems like that would be best for rapid artwork creation, whereas a mouse/kb is still best for animating.
I'm not sure what you mean cool dude. If you man squash and stretch objects in a particle group you can't really do that. You can animate an object that is squashing and stretching and then put it in a particle layer but you don't have any real control on how and when it happens for each particle. What exactly were you thinking of? I just wanted to know what you were thinking of creating.
@@Poptoogi i was thinking of this here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Am-G-fFTCBc.html&pbjreload=101 you know the thing they do in cartoons where they get flattened or stretched or inflated etc. etc. etc.
Hey I'm having trouble with my target bones ....they don't seem to lock in place when I move my character with the main hip bone....it doesn't lock to the character when I move it around....if I make a jump motion and land, the character goes straight through my target, which is what I thought it wouldn't do because they're target bones.....any suggestions ???
Hi. when I apply physics, it seems to be affecting my audio layer. It either speeds my audio up or slows it right down. Dooes anyone know how I can fix this?
Yes and no. I've seen some examples of characters being rag dolled and it looks great but if all the bones aren't connected then some parts can break. It's possible though.
+Psynema Hi Psynema, I don't think you can because when you use physics in this way it generates keyframes for every single frame. And with having to animate each and every single frame to create a squash stretch action it would be extremely time consuming!
Can physic's make a geyser Like fountain? . . where the water or what have you goes over like an umbrella shape as it descends and dissipates around the gusher? . . .
+Alphagon Gr Hi Alphagon Gr, The way I move the backgrounds is pretty easy. Just make sure you make a background longer than you need and then move it from one side to another. You can see how to do this at the end of my Starwars background tutorial!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gQ2wvs_RecY.html
+ShoNuff93 Oh and I don't animate fingers because I just use switch layers. It is possible though. It's a little more time consuming but Danny Sugar has a great tut here! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MMQTXPizqOg.html
