Ciao Stefano!! My native language is Spanish, so it's harder to try to understand how to use "Piacere" by listening it in English, oh my gosh jajaja, it would be better to listen the explanation only in Italian.. Muchas gracias, tus videos son increíblemente útiles!!

Such an excellent video. Thank you for this clarification. Molto grazie mille. Are you able to do a video on "Ti amo" vs " Ti voglio bene"? Amare can only be used with lovers but not parent's, pets etc but use verb voler bene instead. As these two verbs are so different grammatically. One requires direct objects ( amare chi ?) and the other indirect ones ( voler bene a chi ?) Your logic and way of explaining it , makes it soooooo easy. Thanks again

Fantastic. Great explanation for native English speakers about how to navigate the reverse structure which twists our brains LOL. I love your use of the blue and red type, which puts the construction closer to how it works in English. Cool cognitive trick for learning/memorizing!

Hi Stefano - I'm confused about "they like xyz" You translated "they like me" as "gli piaccio", but I'm not sure how you determined "gli" over "loro"? All the translation engines that I can find are returning the disjunctive form - "a loro piaccio". Thus, for the sentence "they like her", the translation engines are returning "a loro piace". Please help!

Is it friendly or can "mi piaci" be misconstrued as romantic liking?

Ciao stefano, so, se voglio dire "YOU LIKE ME" possiamo dire "piaccio a te"? un'altra cosa...puoi fare un video che spiega come usare la parola però.😁🙏 please! Perchè non capisco il significato quando la sento contestualizzata. Grazie mille stefano devo dire che adoro il tuo podcast.
@teacherstefano
@teacherstefano 3 года назад
Puoi dire "Piaccio a te" che è grammaticalmente corretto, ma poco usato nella lingua di tutti i giorni perciò "ti piaccio" è preferibile! "Però" è esattamente la stessa cosa di "ma". Spero di averti aiutato!!
