My son and I are working on his first landscaping project and I wanted to try out plaster cloth. Your tutorial made it easy. I just started making my hills for my layout and decided to get a refresher on this. I don't know about other places, here in the States we get milk in plastic gallon containers. I rinsed a few of them out and cut the bottom off of them to use for things like this.
Hallelujah brother Hallelujah. I have just tried to make a hill about 1 meter x 400 mm. I made a polystyrene form and used air dry clay. At the moment it's almost dry but it's full of bloody cracks. It seems clay shrinks , plaster expands. I guess it's take 2 now.
