Hi, I want really Help. I want to play rock-paper-scissors with my friend. I want my micro-home to communicate with my partner. If I hold back, I will see a sad face, and if I win, a happy face will appear.
Hi soniferous, thanks for your question. Out of the box, I'm not so sure. But you can definitely buy add-ons that will allow this functionality. I'll link below to a guide and the accessory to a potential solution. I'm thinking that it could be a great opportunity for a future video! www.kitronik.co.uk/blog/distance-sensing-microbit-hc-sr04-module/ www.kitronik.co.uk/46130-ultrasonic-distance-sensor-hc-sr04-5v-version.html
Hi Kamakshi, pumped to hear you found the content useful. Unfortunately, I don't have any understanding of Heroku, but it says that it deploys python code, so I'm assuming you can but the steps might be convoluted. Would there be a reason why you would want to deploy on heroku over the makecode editor or other native support? Are you just more comfortable with heroku?
@@SurfingScratcher Thank you so much. And can you please help me with one more query? I am new to make code and I have just started with it, so is it possible to create blocks, which we have used, and make it available to other users?
How can I transfer an array via radio to another microbit? I have noticed that my array gets emptied if I do not do anything so I need a method to transfer the array via radio send.
Hi Maya, thanks for dropping by with your comment. It is possible for a micro:bit to communicate with a phone via an app as mentioned in this guide on the micro:bit website: microbit.org/guide/mobile/ I reckon I'll make a video on this in the future.
