Thank you, I'm just getting over pneumonia far from 100%. My doctor after I came off my other medications gave me a few more, this and asmanex HFA I don't want to bug him I have instructions but I guess my question is how far apart should I space the 2 different inhalers out or does it not matter?

This kind of inhaler is a 'maintenance' inhaler not a rescue drug like albuterol or xopenex.

Often when I use my Combivent, as soon as I inhale it triggers a cough & the medicine didn't even get a chance to get into my lungs. So it's a wasted dose but I can't use it again for at least 4 hours. Any tips on how to prevent this??

I try to use it. need hard effort for entering catridge into device. I've doubt a patient can do for the first time. Before use it, the device must be sprayed to the air 3 times.

I had no problems inserting the cartridge. I insert pushing it in on a stable hard surface like my kitchen counter top. I just push down hard and it's all the way in. Then I prep it.

The cartridge was fairly easy for me. I did succeed in putting it back together wrong and now it’s locked into place wrong, permanently, and won’t dispense meds. Fortunately for me it was a 14 day free sample. It appears we’re moving back in time to when we had capsules filled with powder that my mom had to do for me. 😑

this is the worse inhaler I have ever used have followed directions either I have a malfunctioning inhaler or something but I follow instructions but when I put in mouth does not express when I press black half moon nothing comes out & then maybe 15 seconds later as I am looking at it the medicine shoots out ....
